I will add that once Silverstone, Spa and the Nurburgring are in the game, I'd happily see some of the lesser known tracks that I have discovered through Simbin/Sector3 games. I loved Falkenberg and the STCC tracks, I learnt Pau, Puebla, Macau and Poznan via Race07, I found out about Mondello and Dijon in GT Legends, Dubai and Anderstorp in GTR2 and I've discovered Sachsenring, Slovakiaring and Salzburgring in R3E. Maybe now Paul Ricard too. Any 'smaller' venues or interesting surprises would be appreciated. Places like Road Atlanta, Knockhill, Mosport or Inje very rarely appear in games (apart from the odd mod of a very old conversion) and I'd love to give them a go. Whoever, what I meant to say is that I trust the guys making the decisions about tracks; they have made great choices and, in Alex and Wojtek (and the people I'm inevitably missing out), found the ideal artists to recreate them.
Assen original (over railway lines) Brno original (through village) Mountain section IOM (as a hillclimb)
The Mountain Rd, is on the Mountain Section of the Mountain Course, however, nowhere on the Isle of Man, is higher than 620m (420m for road height)
-Kanada/Montreal -Spanien/Barcelona -Australien/Melbourne -Brasilien/Interlagos -Silverstone New and Old Layout -Malaysia/sepang
Road Atlanta has been featured in the Forza series since 2005. agree about Knockhill and Mosport though.
As someone with no desire to own a console, Road Atlanta has never been officially available since Sportscars GT . There was a superb mod for GTR2 with the circuit, which I think was actually based on the SGT mesh. I had some amazing online races on that. It's a shame not to see it in more games, because it's one of the best driving, racing and spectating circuits I've ever been to (speaking as someone who made a 60 hour round trip to get there for PLM in 2009... the one that was rained off!).
i think it was also in Test Drive Le Mans from 2001, it wasn't a very accurate version of it though. agree that it should be featured more often. instead we get mostly the same tracks over and over again.
Part of Isle of Man TT course, used by a lot of rally and race teams for testing as it's public but no speed limit (well there wasn't) I know Ford WRC used to have a place there at one time and you could be toddling along on your way to work and a couple fully blown Focus's would fly by at full chat, incredible experience!
