    thank you!

    so in that race we have 3 classes:
    * GTR2
    * Prototype series
    * Radical SR9 Cup

    Would you expect the standings to be split in such 3 tables?

    Another question, I assume one should just treat all ADAC cars as GTR3 class?

    Nice work @pixeljetstream !!!

    Maybe its not the right thread to ask the question but i see that you are fit inside these Logs and Statistic Stuff and u asked for any interest's in Multiplayer usage of the tool. So my question : The racelog.txt file is only created on the player computer right? In race07 these kind of racelog was created on the dedicated server and at the moment i'm missing these kind of output on the dedicated server.

    i saw that the dedicated creates logs ,too. But they have only a .log format which i cannot parse into a statistic file so do u know if there are any options to parse these dedicated server output files into a html file ?

    Because my plan is to make a prequalification to sort the grids by there best laps and i see that your html parsed files got the section with best laps but this files was created by the .txt file from your own computer and not by the server files :( Or am i wrong ?

    So we can hope that these improvement will be a output like in race07 where the dedicated server gaves us a racelog.txt file of every event which can be parsed by programs .

    But i think that s3s have an eye on this kind of oppurtunities to bring out dedicated server logs.

    Thank you for your answer @pixeljetstream

    maybe not a file, but the directly querying the server, but I am sure they will improve the ability to gives us more stats, easier.

    create a command prompt and type "luajit.exe r3e-trace-viewer.lua" maybe that prints some error messages to the shell

    Hey @pixeljetstream sorry to bother. I've a situation with your tool.
    Most probably I didn't understand how to use it correctly... but basically after the race I can't find the html with the displayed results in there. I can see datas in the raceresults.txt sure, but can't find the "visual" recap of the race like the one you have posted here... what am I doing wrong?
    thanks!

    The results directory is a subdirectory from where you installed the tool, so go to where the exe is, then into results and open the html file by double click.
    Nothing gets displayed automatically, the tool generates the file that you have to manually open in the browser.

    copy the luajit.exe and the dlls from https://github.com/pixeljetstream/r3e-trace-analysis into the directory and try again. If that also fails, then not sure what the problem is, I rely on wxlua for the UI.

    The alternative is that you use the commandline mode as described in the readme, that means your server would run the tool after each race, for example (with appropriate filenames):
    "r3-open-championship.exe -addrace season1.lua raceresults.txt -makehtml season1.lua season1.html"
