Since i rediscovered R3E last week I haven't spent any time at all with the newly purchased Assetto Corsa dream pack.

    I blame you! ;)

It's like when you try coffee without sugar.

AC is still great and you should all go buy the dream pack. Those guys deserve it too.
All the sims can have my love :)

Didn't buy the dream pack either because I haven't played AC for months. I find the game a bit 'meh'. Looks nice, drives nice but it doesn't engage me.

The trouble is, when I fire up Steam, Raceroom is always there, enticing me.

I actually have a special calender for this problem.
On which day I can drive what game, what series and what car...

AC Dreampack is cool, so is the content in R3E.

Im in the same boat. Love the new alfa classic coupe in the dream pack. But sadly for it, I love R3E more!

I also think that the fact the R3E works better with Simvibe and my new buttkickers might affect the choice. Running on an office chair atm can't wait to get my new stuff so I can assemble the planned rig.

I really enjoy both games immensely. The FFB with R3E is better IMO. But as I've mentioned before; because of the mods (cars and tracks), AC is always fresh for me. I love that I can have an amazing variety of both. A lot of them are very very good. Plus there are open wheelers. Now having said that, for R3E to still entice me speaks VOLUMES about the sim. I absolutely love it. I know most of you could give a rats arse about mods, and I'm not stressing them, I'm mentioning it to make a point. AC gets more wheel time because I'm always testing new stuff, and there are a lot of career mods, and a career generator. I'm a hoarder, as you may well have guessed. I drove the crap out of both last night! Choice is good.

Like many, I've been playing AC since release and have had a great deal of enjoyment out of it. I also bought the expansion pack which is tremendous value for money. However, since I re-discovered R3E a month or so ago, I just can't seem to get back into it. I've tried Nords with the various cars and had some fun but I'm finding something missing ... exhilaration ... a feeling which arises when the proverbial stars align ... FFB, visuals, audio, challenge ... an immersive cocktail of sensory and cerebral pleasure.
