Ford Mustang GT3

They could add Nissan GT-R and/or Corvette C6 to GT1 and it would be fine as separate class. Of course as long, as licenses aren't a problem.

And also, we could see the P4/5 in the end of the Nords preview from Inside sim racing, can that one be confirmed as a GT3 from now on?

 

Just last night I was thinking a bigger grid in GT1 would be great. We need a vette there

I think it's fantastic with a development team that answers questions from the users, even if you do not like / understand the answers.

I don`t understand this:

The cars are not really meant for racing against each other, but are purely for point 2 point time trials, hill climb.
Therefore it makes little sense to add liveries or expand with other cars for a full racing grid.

 

B2B (=business to business) cars are the cars they got a license for from their business partners. And none of those would really fit into the Hillclimb class and be comparable with the two cars already in it. At least that's how I read that.

Edit: The Carlsson SLK 340 JUDD was not there from the beginning, it's been added at a later point as car number 2 in the class Hillclimb Icons.

@Christian Göpfert, again you're the hero. I know b2b. But I couldn't draw a conclusion to this. Maybe it was a simrelated term here.
And as I live in a region, where we stumble upon b and p or d and t, I was mildly amused, when I read point 2 point, though it makes sense here.

 

I'd say they have to, especially if the class is all about leaderboards. It's no real use having cars in one class that differ very much, cause which car will then end up at the top of the lb? It would destroy the competition.

They are listed both as individual cars and class.
You do not compete against other cars you race against other drivers who drove the same car as you.

While I'm all for bigger grids I'd hate to see GT2 merged with anything, it's fine as it is now IMHO.

I'd much rather have GT1 expanded with a GT-R and a Vette.

 

Yeah, the GT2 class is nearly perfect right now.

is a physic update for Ford GT GT1 and the Saleen S7R in planning any? - that would be great

 

It feels a bit odd as GT2 and GT1 has quite a considerable difference between both specifications.

I rather see GTR2 the way it is now, but with P4/5 added to it. And GTR1 only has the Ford GT, Nissan GTR and Saleen S7R as these 3 cars kinda do race together in real life in GT1 series. It would feel really odd to see both GT2 and GT1 get lumped into one as it isnt authentic because GT1 and GT2 arent the same class back then.

 

When you plan to regroup or merge some cars what will this mean for the current leaderboard entries ?
Will you do a second reset for the leaderboards then ?

 

I don´t know. The Mustang in any GT1 2 or 3 class? In my opinion no.
That would be the same if I want to have the NSU in a GT class. No, that doesnt fit very well.
It´s a perfect car for multiclass racing, iRacing solves that lack of BOP for this car perfect with the multiclass races.
