What new features would you like to see in R3E?

My wishes:

- different daytimes (morning, noon, afternoon, evening & night) and alternation of day and night during the races


- different weather conditions (sunshine, rain & fog) and changes in the weather during the races


- different storable and loadable racing setups in the menu


- vehicle fires after hard crashes or during the pit stops


- animating pit crews during the pit stops


- … and of course more new cars and tracks like a BTCC Cars Pack or a US-Tracks Pack

in short, as in gtr2 and race07

 

I'd like all and then some but not quite the case as licensing sucks

 

Saving car setups is a needed feature for sure, and AFAIK the team is working on it.
If i have to decide between different daytimes and different weather, i would rather see changeable weather in R3E, because most racing series (besides Endurance racing) don't driving at night, but weather is always changing.

And a feature, which isn't in the poll and i would like to see in R3E is a dynamic track surface (similar to rF2 realroad).

Animated pit crews would surely enhance the immersion. A nice-to-have, but i think there are more important things to do.

But i really couldn't say "No" to more cars & tracks.

Hard to resist vehicle fire. The other options are much more practical, but i want to see my car on fire, dammit!

 

I want to see who i just raced with

 

Some things I haven't seen in list:
* Fuel usage and refueling
* more info on Motec display (tire temps)
* time scaled tire wear/fuel usage
* Crossfire/SLI support
* European (non-English) characters in names of players. Right now, my last name is split by space because game can't draw one character

But, those are minor things compared to lack of unpredictable weather, so all my votes would be for weather And lack of telemetry data can somewhat be reduced in significance by using dashboard from http://www.simracing-tools.de/, but it is inconvenience.

 

A TV highlight camera would be nice in replays, not entirely sure how it could be done but, I mean a mode that automatically switches which car is being tracked for an over-taking move or major crash.
I'm sure I could explain that better but words escape me at the moment, I'm sure you get what I mean though.

Also heli cams like this would be awesome feature for replays.

 

I've never seen it done in any racing games so it's great to know it can be done, cheers buddy, there is hope!

 

Too many floating cameras in replay. Takes away the realistic aspect of the replay imo.

 

A wider virtual mirror and a chat box embedded in the timing screen of MP races. Not a fan of the current chat feature.

Strongly agree with this. I much prefer the static (realistic) trackside cameras.

 

Bring those mugs to the store as misc pack with international shipping.

 

Those mugs look a good size, I'll take 2 please and the missus says she'll have some pens if you have them going.

Edit:
I'd like to see a new experience package, recently been getting into the IMSA United Sportscar Championship, great line up of cars over several classes on some real interesting and obscur circuits. I think if it was done properly, it would make for a very good Experience.
