    Multiplayer:
    • Various potential fixes for a crash that was occurring when switching from qualifying to race in Multiplayer.
I don't think this issue is fixed, it happened to me last night. After qualifying, i was waiting to go to race, but for me only, the qualifying timer starts again. The race has started for the rest grid and i was at qualifying again. And after 2-3 minutes connection lost. It was the second time that happened after the update.
I think you guys at sector3, first of all you should fix these issues, if you want to be close to rival sims, i enjoy playing this game and that's why i purchase most of the content.
But this kind of problems don't let me enjoy my investment.

The fixes in the changelog were aimed at an issue where the game froze upon switching sessions and people had to reboot their PCs.

    Maybe, but not my point.
It is. What you're describing is a different issue. That's all I'm saying.

Obviously there are several mp-related issue that are being worked on atm.
But I haven't heard of or experienced what you're describing until now.
So if you can reproduce it or connect it to anything you've done prior to it happening that could have caused it, writing that down would help. But it sounds like some random connection issue, not like something you can produce at will, right?
Also, if the game crashed and created a dump file, attaching that file would also help tracking the issue. Dumps are found in C:\Users\abc\Documents\My Games\SimBin\Crash Dumps

Oh well, no biggy. If it happens again, check that dumps folder and if there's sth in there post it here.
But lets hope it doesn't come to that.

    I really hope so.
I read somewhere that maybe win10 is more faulty with raceroom. Do you suggest to go back to win7?

Tricky question as I haven't tried Win10 myself until now.
I read those reports as well and many issues do seem related to Win10, or updates being published for it which can screw up things heavily.
But I've also read comments of several people (some tester colleagues as well) who report Win10 working without problems for them. But it sounds like a clean/fresh install is favoured against the update installation.

Np. I'm happy with Win7 for the time being and when I read the reports about issues related to Win10 I don't regret sticking with it. ;) At some point in the future I will surely make the switch, but atm it sounds like there's too many things in need of optimization.
