I have a question about the Ford Mustang GT3. Have you ever considered moving this car to the GTR 3 class? There are still some slots left in that class to get full grids, and it's a real shame to have a nice looking car like the Mustang all by itself!.. Maybe also give it one extra cool livery or two. This would save you a lot of time! Instead of making 21 more liveries or several new cars to the American Nationals, you can just remove that class.
Agree with that sentiment; hopefully when the GTR3 class receives its physics updates the Mustang will be included.
There will be some shuffling of content taking place, but what goes where and who does what, is something for later
The Marc VDS liveried Mustang GT3 is simply gorgeous. Mind you, any car (or bike) carrying their livery is.
Somehow related - I regret buying this car like no other one. It's terrible. Too bad I bought it when test drive wasn't possible .
I like it, but it's not updated to the latest physics yet. And kinda pointless with only two liveries..
I can't drive that car for life and I only drive every car in amateur mode! Can't imagine how is in get real mode.
It's a bit tail happy, so you have to be gentle on the throttle.. But that's part of the fun! You just need practise, you'll eventually nail it! Often it's the most demanding cars that are the most fun to drive.
Great, take the GTR2 RUF make it slower and put it in the GTR3 class and i will buy it again in a heartbeat.
I managed to learn some other difficult cars, but Mustang is like driving on the ice like ASC/ESP doesn't work at all or maybe it doesn't have it at all . The only car I managed to roll over. Only one. I don't have problems with Mustang GT DTM.
Since this thread was mentionned in another thread: Despised it's name, the Mustang is not a GT3 car - and that's why it's not in the GTR3 class. To me , it's a kind of GTD car (ie to the lower GT class in TUSCC). Or maybe a GS (ie Continental TIres), but I ain't sure, it feels faster.
Maybe not all variants of the FR500, but at least one was built especially for GT3: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ford_Mustang_FR500#FR500GT3_.28FR500GT_Variant.29 You also find it on the results of the old FIA GT3 European championships, for example here (quite far at the bottom though ): http://gt3europe.com/results.php?event=1&season=2007&session=Entry List If it wasn't GT3 than it had never raced there. So I think instead of leaving it alone in a rather useless category, why not match it to the other GT3s and put it together with them because that already happened in real life too? Just my 2 cents...
There were two variants made for real (I think the red one below is one of the original Matech cars from 2007 - could be wrong). But even if the current one is somewhere in between the two, it would still make a great GTR3 class machine; I don't mind if it's completely real.
