Hello, I'm hoping to receive some sort of official support. I have a legacy Fanatec wheel: Fanatec Forza Motorsport CSR Wheel, and CSR Pedals. I'm running driver 261 and firmware 756 which were the latest released before end of life. My wheel is auto detected by R3E and profile loaded. I've assigned controls appropriately. I've followed the guide for FFB setup in game. I've kept all of my driver and wheel settings the same as all other games (which all work perfectly). In R3E I have extremely weak, and dull FFB. Almost nothing is communicated, and the stuff that is presents extremely weakly.
Adjust FFB strength for your car on a car setup page. You can do it even while driving: map two buttons to "Increase FFB multiplier" and "Decrease FFB multiplier".
Thanks maskerader. I have done that, and while the damping force seems to increase, there's still basically no detail or accurate steering column feedback. Can drive with one finger lightly steering. Even up to 8x with crazy clipping.
Can you give a full rundown of the wheel settings and screenshots of both any fanatec settings and the raceroom ffb settings Andi
Yeah for sure. Here's the settings and my PC. Intel Core i5 12600k CPU 32 gb DDR4 RAM GeForce GTX 1070 GPU
I had similar issue with this wheel many years ago during transition to windows10 You didnt say that but is that snissue in other Sims? If it is I would try following Reinstall drivers as they come stock and test If you are on Windows 10, and it is still not working then install drivers as Windows7 in the properties Options of the exe installer file and test
No problems with other sims. I race rfactor 2, AMS2, AC, and ACC with no issues. I'm running Windows 11, but I'll give the "install as windows 7" a try tonight.
Sen-Off, FF-100, Sho-100, dri-off, ABS-100, Lin-000, dea-000, Spr-0, dpr-0, acl-off Settings work a treat in rF2, AC, ACC, AMS2, Dirt Rally 1 & 2
