Hi all, I often find it difficult to find a server running WTCC with a decent number of cars on the grid, the best to date has been about 12, finishing with 5. . More often than not the grid sizes are are around 4-5. Disappointing considering this is a great sim. That said I have set up a dedi server to host a race as follows:- Sunday 29th Practice starts at 8pm (uk time) Hochenheimring WTCC 2014, Chevrolet Cruze Citroen Elissee Honda Civic Lada Granta server name, OTCR CO UK 1 Practice 30min Qualifying 10mins Race 20mins I hope this helps people to book an hour off from real life and attract more racers, if it is a success I am willing to run this bi-weekly see you there... Traction
our group hosts WTCC 2015 once every 2 weeks for a 10m sprint race if that catches your interest...among other classes of course..though we mainly look at multiclass events as our main events. just a thought, if not i hope you get good numbers and have fun
Hi OverTheLine, thx for your reply, if there is little response I'll take a look at your group. Here's hoping for a good turnout.
Getting ready for tonight ppl, I will restart the server at 8pm Uk time, you can start practicing on the server from now......
Well I'm not very surprised, it was a none event. During practise we where 6 or 7 drivers, promising I thought. Others joined and left, at race time only 5 on the grid. (I had hoped to see some old regulars that i raced with before) After 1 lap 2 had dropped out which left just 3, (two friends and me). I came second.........result....lol very disappointed....... Conclusion. If you are not in a league or not prepared to buy any cars or tracks, then forget Raceroom I know it is not the best sim out there and has a lot of stiff competition but it does provide very close racing and is quite forgiving in comparison....... That said not my No1 sim but I still like R3E alot. I will try again soon, maybe start a league along side our forthcoming rF2 championship at OTCR. regards Mal (Traction)
Check WTCC League, a French League racing only WTCC cars ('13, '14, '15, and soon , '16)... Fair and good drivers, not much on a compétitive point of view, but most on fun & fair driving... French speaking mandatory, however....
