Now available! game.raceroom.com/store/pack/audi-sport-tt-cup The Audi Sport TT is an all-new race sports machine purpose built for the track. The 2 liter TFSI engine pushes out up to 340 HP to propel a weight of just 1.125 kg. By means of the so-called push-to-pass function the output of the two-liter TFSI engine can be briefly boosted by 22 kW (30 hp). Combined with the race oriented geometry and setup of the car, this makes of one very responsive and exciting ride. German racing ace, Markus Winkelhock, said about this new car “The TT cup is a genuine race car, ideal for rookies, yet challenging to drive." The physics model of the car has been developed in cooperation with the Audi TT drivers, and the whole package, drives, brakes and handles just like the real thing. This means fantastic close racing is a certainty and you will need to be smart in your use of the push-to-pass feature to gain an advantage and punch a gap to the drivers behind you. Above all, the Audi TT Cup cars are FUN. ' Push-to-Pass function The Audi Sport TT Cup car features the so-called “push-to-pass” function, which gives the car an extra engine boost of 22 kW (30 hp) for 10 seconds, followed by a 20 second cooldown phase, before it can be used again. A blue LED light will signalize when a driver has pressed the push-to-pass button. Push-to-Pass can be used in all the sessions. The number of allowed activations during the race is determined by the starting position: Grid rows 1-3: 15 activations Grid rows 4-6: 15+1 activations Grid rows 7-9: 15+2 activations Grid rows 10-12: 15+3 activations
Lol the Audi promo-vid is so funny cause it's soooo full of "emotional content" generating endless pathos to get me hooked (if I would be around ten years old - music alone might fit another Batman vs Superman Trailer ) And like always @Georg Ortner remains completely unchallenged at the "Single Race" (actually single walkthrough) Demo Races ...but all that taken aside: Good Job S3
Maybe next time i make a video where i lead from start to finish. That sounds like fun, right? Jokes aside, i'm looking forward to meet you on the servers driving this car. Close fights guaranteed!
I'll be honest, not a fan of one-make series so this one's not for me thanks - really looking forward to the expanded IMSA GT class, GT Masters 2015, Buriram, Nurburgring and hopefully a GTR3 pack, so I'll save my VrPennies for these.
That's what the business-model is for But yeah - it has pro's and con's... a big pro is close fights without any balancing-trouble. Especially the TT's aren't that fast so that closer racing is possible without to much hassle... The con - all cars looks and sounds same...
They handle better than any previous fwd car in currently in R3E. They pull out of the corners a lot better and are more on par with WTCC13 speeds. Wouldnt knock them till you try them.
Just for the argument's shake, there is an old statement that goes something like this:'Chariots are pulled and not pushed by horses'..
Definitely a class that I would love to buy. Will pick up a pack if there is one. Single makes are good fun, IMO as it is the sort of racing that skills really matters as every car is exactly the same. TT Cup will be good fun in R3E.
