Samsung GS2 for my HUD in Sim racing. Private I use a Sony Xperia Z5 Compact but, will probably chose a Nokia 8 as my next in a couple of weeks (I need that Finnish Sisu again )
Huawei P9 lite. I almost never use it for surfing and telephoning (no needs of mine), I wanted it mainly for the camera and as navigation software platform, I use Osmand for that, it has the best maps and works and navigates offline, different than Google Maps. The camera indeed is stunning, I have done Din A4 prints from pictures done with it, and they are rocksolid resolution and picture quality, if you know what you are doing when shooting the pic. The bigger brother of the p9 lite is said to have an even better camera, optimised for black-.white pictures, with two optics. The phone came with little, almost none, bloatware, and what there was, was fast and easy to delete. Price was low, I'd say. Other brands label this phone's capacity as their own flagship phone and then demand 2-3 times as much money for that. Battery life is surprisngly long - I load it once per week, it is on 12 hours a day, from 11 to 11. Very good display, very good receiver qualities and speech quality. I absolutely can recommend this device.
Motorola Moto X 2013 as HUD (when not driving in VR, which honestly didn't happen since I have VR), Sony Xperia XZ1 compact as daily driver. I hate phones with screen sizes over 5 inches. I preordered the XZ1 compact and got the sony bluetooth noise cancelling headphones WH-H900N for free with it. Sells for around 260€. Very nice headphones
I have the HTC One M8. (unfortunately, not officially supported anymore) I don't use a device as HUD (yet).
I use the HTC 10. It's sturdy, fast and the weight and size of it is really nice. Ah, I used my One M8 as a telemetry device with all the times and my 10 with the RPM, Gear etc. I loved that M8. I don't use them as telemetry devices anymore though. The M8 is still a lovely phone however.
just got rid of my iphone3 traded up to a cheap ZTE android (work made me, or I would still be using the iphone3) hey if it aint broke, don't fix it
S7 Active, tough resillient and waterproof, perfect phone for me, on n off building sites all day, in n out the truck even doing nothing it gets battered, altho i prefer the 6 active i had prevously
I got the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2s in White on monday, its such an amazing peace of hardware and i love the no notch design
Recently upgraded to the LG G7 one pure Android with no bloatware. Amazing audio with a built in boombox speaker with hi fi quad dac And DTS:X 3d sound. 3120x1400 screen resolution Google assistant is pretty handy Overall the software and experience is very similar to the Google pixel 3 xl but for less $$$
My sister has one, it is a solid mid-range phone, perfectly fine for everyday use, but I think the Honor 10 would be a better choice at a little higher price (that's my current phone )
