Exact opposite of my experience.
On the contrary, racing open-wheelers is now an actual possibility since they no longer whack into you like they were driving touring cars.
As for AI vs AI.....Well, I did FRJs at Zandvoort (video to come later), and rummaged about in 3rd or 4th most of the race exchanging positions with the AI.
The two guys in first and second went at it like their lives depended on it, and I lost track of how many times the lead changed hands.
Or in other words, great fun.
So to quote Special Order no. 227:
"Not one step backwards, comrades!"

 

What region are you referring to? You can change the currency to US Dollar, Pound or Real and the pricing will change accordingly.

 

Hi guys...

the Rev-bar in the new McLaren dash is not blinking while the pit limiter is activated!
And it seems that the Split-Times in the new dashboards do not work!!!

Australia's Objective racing were also spotted doing some laps at Eurospeeedway

 

love the new liveries on the m6 and 650s, especially the Aussie ones. But one thing we really need is an AI selector, im sick of racing with mustangs and cameroes....

Great update! Tasty openwheelers! Update long awaited and... my wheel is broken! In this particular moment...! Anyway, tearful but thankful. Thank you Sector 3!

 

I tried only Tatuus and Formula Junior, so the slower open wheelers, in the old AI - and found the AI handling these cars very well. I had no such crashes as you describe. Especially the Junior was great fun and fantastic dogfighting.

There is a bug report on this issue.

 

Or at least make the Mustangs and Camaros spawn a little less compared to the new GT3s. I think the main issue is how slow are these cars made it not fun to race with on the grid.

 

^It is okay that the game limits the available car types per class, but amongst those cars within one class, player should be able to decide how many of each car model should show up. As well as skipping unwanted cars completely.

The Ford GT is alright in my experience. It isn't too slow, to be honest.

One thing I wish in the game is, I really hope to see less of the KW liveries when we have more and more cars. They look great but considering that we have so many cars in the class, I kinda wished for them to appear less likely. Same goes with the Camaro and Mustang.

 

That's a bit like Lego games without Lego figures.

We just need the AI selector thingy similar to that in Assetto Corsa, although I hope R3E allows us to pick liveries as well.

Had enough of grids full of Glicks, Mustangs, Alpinas and Camaros that never race these days.
