    Hi,
    Please help.
Since the last patch i am unable to save my "custom settings" in the Video settings page.
I tune to my preferences, hit the apply button, leave the page, come back and all settings have returned to default. ??
Any ideas what is going wrong?
    Thanks

I can both change and save the settings and the changes are still there.

Can you look in your ...\Documents\My games\SimBin\User Data and see that the graphics_options.xml is there and that the folder doesn't have any strange permission settings.

Maybe run an integrity check on the game files if the problem persists.

I had a look at the file you mentioned. I am not sure what a "strange permission setting would look like so i removed the file, and ran an integrity check.
This appears to have solved my problem. Thank you Henri.

    Nice to hear!

I believe many issues such as that can be solved by delete and an integrity check.

Good to know this for future problems of the same type.

Edit: "strange" permission setting might be that your PC is blocking you from making changes in documents and folders with an "admin only permission". So you might only have permission to read the file and not modify. Right-click on folder, choose properties and go through the settings and check permissions. On .exe you can always set it to "run as administrator" so that it's automatically running with the correct permissions so to speak.
