English RRLeagues DTM Championship (AM & GR)

Hello!

To begin, RRLeagues was born from a few people all passionate about the same thing, R3E. Our group has steadily grown and we now feel organised enough to welcome all gentlemen drivers to participate in our main championship (now that i have won the opening 2 rounds ). We strive to make our community a helpful & friendly place to be off track, and a fun & fair place to race on track.

We are currently into Rd 4 of a 9 Rd Championship featuring the DTM class.

Out of interest, do the DTM 2013 / 14 / 15 / 16 cars have significant performance differences? I ask because Crew Chief treats them as different classes (so it bangs on about "fastest in your class" and stuff, even if all the cars in the race are DTM_20xx). I was wondering if it'd make more sense to combine them all together into a single DTM class

aha, youve just answered a question for me. i use a 2015 car in this C'ship and if im holding a fastest lap during a race, CC will often tell me that XX has just done the fastest lap, even though it was slower than mine?! i guess hes obviously NOT in a 2015 car.

i had been lead to believe that 2016 are faster than 2015, but having just checked the leaderboards there doesnt seem to be much between them tbh. my choice of 2015 had nothing to do with performance, rather of circumstance.

I'm still up for this but I've been snowed under with Crew Chief work this weekend - big Android update coming and juggling branches for an Assetto Corsa update and then later a big RF2 update.

Will check in with Discord and get me act together

I'm joining both AM and GR. Should be a good craic. Not the best track, but DRS will keep the pack tight

Cracking racing again chaps. Gutted to have missed out on third in race 1 by 0.001 seconds but it was a blast

 

Was a great race. Amateur was hotly contested but sadly I had a bad run.
