Will be doing a couple of races here over the next week, but general opinion is this track seems to have very little grip compared with other tracks in-game, does it need looking at or was this intentional?
Guess I'll be racing the same races, though on the other end of the grid But tbh I don't share the "general" opinion that the track lacks grip compared to others. But maybe I have done too many laps at Mantorp recently, after that every track feels super sticky
I think it's the mere fact that the Indy infield turns have little to no camber which makes the layout feel less grippy than usual.
@Don yeh I doing all 3 there this week with Kenny, tried the FUS last night, wasn't to bad. @Alex to be honest you might be right, it is such a flat track.
The Charlotte infield on a *certain other* game seems to have the same issue. It's like driving on ice.....I thought it was their tyre model! Apart from the flatness, the speed achieved on the long straight and banked corner makes navigating the infield feel like you are in a pedal cart.
The current road course layout of Indy is more important than more grip … PS: the In-Car Theater views are perfect tools for new track creations and rewoks of existing tracks
