I had a good race. a few excursions, but in the end I finished higher than I qualified. And my replay looks good at sunset cant wait to see the official one.

Thanks for a nice race as always. I'm sorry @Stiggy for the push on lap 1, tried to avoid you at all cost.

@Goran Gorgiev tried his best drifting moves so I could close up on him before the pit stops and then stay out for two more laps. I believe he hit some traffic on his out lap(s) so I managed to come out from my stop with a lead of 3 sec and keep it 'til the end. Couldn't for my life calculate the correct amount of fuel since I only managed to do one practice race and I was afraid that the top guys were going to do consistent low 1.27's but I gambled a bit and went with a rough calculation that worked out OK. But there were some tense laps after the stop when I wondered if it was enough fuel to reach the flag and I tried to multitask my ass off with some calculations on the fly.

All cars being lapped made it easy for us coming through so a big thanks to you all. Appreciate that!

I am getting worse....Good time though, other than my back and neck being shot for the last few weeks.

 

I had to put in 2L more than my preset pit stop but didn't know that until the end. I ended up putting in 10L extra which lost me about 3 seconds in the pitstop and @Genghiz Kahn was able to just pass me as I exited my pit. It sure made for an exciting second stint! If I didn't put in extra fuel, I would have had to save 2L or would have run out probably before the last turn

@Stiggy , that was an amazing last lap as the clock was almost out. You nudged in front of me by 0.016(?!) Very nice

I was surprised my car handled as well as it did in Sunset. Usually, it oversteers likes crazy.

Congrats to @Stephen Allen , with a great pit strategy he caught up to Kahn and myself. If we had another lap, he would've passed me on his fresh tires.

I'm annoyed my flakey connection would not hold up reasonably on Saturday, but I darent risk a dodgy internet connection punting someone off who's is in the championship and needs the points. It's happened to me before when I've lagged/warped into someone and taken them out even though I was nowhere near them on my screen.

I like Nurburgring too glad most of you had a good race though!

IMPORTANT new flag system will NOT be active in the Championship races until further notice because of issues like posted here https://forum.sector3studios.com/index.php?threads/flag-issues.7668/ all Esr drop in event and Baddogs fun server will run and test new flag system , but for the time being the Championship races will stay same as we have been running nothing will change.

 

Thanks for another great race. Unfortunately for me after being a bit too aggressive in turn two I parked it nose into the wall on lap 2 or 3. played catch up from there. but still a fun race. Thanks again.
