Bug Windowed mode - Matrix mode

Hi everyone

First, thanks for the update which made me smiling behind my wheel for the whole evening - and i am sure i will continue to smile some more days



I just got one small problem.

I recently had some microstutters and was trying to resolve that. Finally i was able to enjoy the game with vsync on and windowed mode off which worked in a way.

Before that i tried to resolve the stuttering with vsync off and windowed mode on - the only problem was that my screen looked like this:



Because i was not very happy with the view i just tried to "Alt-Tab" to close the programm - which gave me this view:



And here everything looks ok - and even the microstutters where away. My only problem was - i can not drive while "Alt-Tab" with the left hand and do the rest with the right hand. ;-)

TLTR: It seems that the windowed mode is not working how it should - with vsync on and off i get the same result (tried 59 and 60hz mode on tv)

Are you overclocking your gpu at all ?

No, not overclocking at all.

The specs are also in the signature:

Core i7 4 GHz | 16 GB RAM | GTX 980 | Fanatec CSW & CSP | Win 10 64bit | slow hands & foots

 

Does the problem always occur, or was it one time?
Only when you start to drive on the track or in the menu too?

 

Before and after the patch it occured, and its repetable.

Only by trying to drive, not in the menu.

I just checked the NVIDIA 3D Thing - it is not activated.

Just tried in windowed mode whitout vsync and a resolution of 4096x2160 and 1920x1080 - there the effect does not appear. I even tried a rollback of the latest NVIDIA-driver before the update to the newest driver (381.65) yesterday - there was no change in behaviour.
