Problem When using virtual mirror in cockpit zooms car mirrors?

Whenever I use the virtual mirror in cockpit view, my side mirror and in-car mirror are zooming in.

Is there a way to use the virtual mirror and car mirrors without the zoom?

 

Is that in all cars?

It's existed since gods knows when, and happens in all vehicles in the game, I've brought it up a few times and nothing has ever changed.

 

As far as I know all the tracks.

 

Same for the overlapping Off Track message on top of the virtual mirror. Makes returning to the track a gamble.
I can turn off messages all together but then I miss the pit-open messages.
Has been like this since I got R3E (about 2 years ago) and is stil not fixed.
Big changes and DLC get priority, small old bugs get no love unfortunately.
