You need to put a time on the leaderboard. And yes I agree. Missing @Paul Darke on this champ is a loss for this champ. A likable guy Everyone likes Paul
Gents I appreciate all the comments. Not over the moon about missing it but not much I can do. Some days its good others not so.
Ladies and Gentlemen, Thanks for showing an interest and competing in the leaderboard challenge. Leaderboard and entry to the Saturday Mini Championship cut off is Wednesday 10th May 01:00 GMT Due to the Friday night Rookie Cup having minimal interest, we will only run the Saturday Mini Championship with split Divisions and teams (TBA) For everyone who has put up a time, please send a confirmation by starting a conversation on S3 Forum with @Paul Darke for him to register you, this must be done by Saturday 13th May 01.00 GMT The Championship will commence on Saturday 20th May
@Admins, just a quick question; assuming series hours are as posted in first post and they are: "19:00 Saturday EDT, 23:00 Saturday GMT, 09:00 Sunday AEST" I did not bother with the times earlier, it will be 4pm for me here at the West Coast. Few of my friends were also interested in this series after I mentioned to them but they pointed out it was too late for them in Holland (GMT +2). So it's way past midnight for them. It is rather unusual for a series held on weekends but times are Euro unfriendly? Unless of course there is a reason for it.
Besides, I'm EU and I intend to race. And yes, a few hours earlier would've been nice, but my experience from RD tells me that if you move race-time to appease one group, you're simultaneously cutting off another group. The only real solution would be for every sim-racer in the world to move to the same time-zone, which seems unlikely.
Yes @Jonathan Uyan if we move it earlier we lose guys from Australia etc , so it's a tough balance to keep everyone happy
It is fair to mention that ESR used to have races even later and they were moved to help EU people join (wich took me out from last champ BTW ). It's impossible to have the perfect time for everybody around the world.
Crap, mis-understood race times can't do 4:00 Saturday PDT was looking at GMT as the EDT. I'm out sorry. Edit, might be able to sneak 1 or 2 races if that's ok?
