It is not about the looks only, looks were even in pCars1 outstanding and better than anything else on the market (race wise). But the improvements on the physics and FFB site (way of setting up) seem to be massive. FFB was good but too difficult and time consuming to get it right, physics did need improvement. @fl0wf1r3 don't know where you get your info, but there are also huge improvements for sounds in pCars2. So we are going to get a hugely improved pCars1, which simulates more than other sims, which has a decent career mode, lots of cars, lots of tracks (all very well made), weather (even snow and wind), day/night cycle, lively tracks and scenery, working odo, fuel, RPM, turbo, oil, temp and....and... meters... full triple screen support, delta time and all the info you can even dream about, fairly decent AI (which also got improved)...yes, I will be happy with it. Maybe all of this makes this arcade for you, not in my book though...
I fell for the hype hook line and sinker last time. Not happening this time. I plan on waiting for a used copy to show up at a local game store for PS4 or XBOX since you can return used games if not pleased with them. If it's enjoyable and not bug ridden, then I'll return the used copy and buy the PC version off Steam. Steam's 2 hour policy isn't long enough to judge a game IMO.
Didn't believe the hype first time, so can't see why I'd change my mind because of a few pretty piccy's this time. Only have the free add on, couldn't remember name and just checked Steam library and it's gone, so not even got that anymore, how will I sleep tonight! Will be shocked if PC2 is not the most complained about Sim of the year, would love to be proved wrong though, as the content and feature list is impressive to say the least but believe it when someone else sees it and passes on the good news.
Project Cars 2 - Mercedes AMG GT3 sounds like Wreckfest Real one in the meantime we are waiting for the Audi ^^
That is an old video, don't you think sound could have changed since then ? My guess is that I will drive the Audi in pCars2 (including triple screen support) before the one in R3E appears (I am already driving it in my other sims BTW)... In the meantime I wanted to listen to the sound of the AMG in R3E, but the servers are down...
Bug fixing before content I hope, gotta sort the flag system out, pretty much no point in racing online as it's a bit of a lottery whether you get a penalty or not. Joining lag is back with a vengeance, needs addressing asap as another MP spoiler (not allowing people into Quali is most definitely not the answer). Sort those two race wreckers out, then by all means release the beasts! *edit Gonna be the FX17 and tyre compounds I fancy!
now we are waiting since 9 months.... and when i see the McLaren release-time... we have to wait another 3 to 4 months
