    Greetings all,
I really need some advice/help. I bought a PC used, but in great condition. It was working fine for several days, but then I started to play this sim called RaceRoom and now I get the screen of death (BlueScreen) - there are no viruses that I'm aware of. I ran the system check the other day it all checked out.
While racing let's say I get into lap number three:

    1. The sim freezes
    2. Screen goes black or blue screen
    3. Pc will shut-down on its own and then re-boot
    4. Once rebooted, monitor says no connection detected.
    5. I plugged the PC to HDMI TV yesterday and got everything working again.
Below you will find PC Specs.
Intel i5-3570 Ivy Bridge Quad Cote 3.8Ghz turbo
    Samsung 840 120GB SSD
1Tb black western digital hard drive
    Asus DVD burner 24x
Corsair HX series HX750 modular PSU
    Corsair vengeance 8Gb DDR3 1866 Gaming RAM
    AMD R380X Myst. 4GB Card
    Asus P8Z77 motherboard
Corsair Hydro H100i liquid CPU cooler
    Monitor: Acer G6 Series G246HL Black 24" TN 5ms (GTG) 60 Hz Widescreen LED/LCD Monitor 1920 x 1080 FHD

Advice would be much appreciated, also is there a program that I could run in the background that will tell me exactly what the issue is while running the game?

    Thanks in advance...

    UPDATE:

As I'm trying to troubleshoot, I unplugged everything and waited. Plugged all the components back in, rebooted the PC and this is the message I received.

Overclocking failed! Please enter Set-Up to re-configure your system. See the photo below...

As the message suggests - go into the bios and reset the settings.
bad overclocking explains the blue screen

Does this mean I need to upgrade the CPU or GPU?

Thank you and also, should this happen again. How can I prevent it? Do you suppose my PC components are weak for this simulation?

"reset setting" will do the job - it means your CPU will run in its default clock speed from now on, and not higher as probably was set by the prev owner.
Your PC is more then enough for the game - maybe the GPU will limit your FPS in the game but that could be adjusted in the game Graphics setting. anyway dont worry about it
