That and they can often be very vague. Saying "Soon" all the time isn't particularly helpful. I think they'd receive far less hassle if they didn't do that. At the start of June. They said the wait for the new R8 would be over "soon".... Now I get that plans change from time to time. It would just be far better if they kept their cards close to their chest. Until they knew, for certain. What is going on and when.
And to those moaning about this particular update..... At least wait until the first of December. And if the update sill hasn't been released..... Then I guess you can resume the moaning.
Je ne comprends absolument pas votre politique de communication! Les messages (sic) de JF sont un manque flagrant de respect envers la communauté. Par contre, je ne vois pas l'urgence de cette misse à jour. Si l'on regarde Steam Charts, on s'apercoit clairement que RR est bien loin des autres SIMS, même d'AMS, alors une version 64 bits, quelques améliorations à la physique des GT3 et une pseudo compétition payante n'arrivera pas à détroner les Iracing, AC, Pcars2 et AMS. Si Sector 3 veut nous traiter comme des déchets bien ce n'est pas les meilleures offres qui manquent. Respect Sector 3 et JF
i don't read promises. i think people read what they want to read. considering that these speeches are identical in any forum, or all developers lie severely or many custumers have problems understanding the text. I vote for the second.
Does it actually matter if it makes the November deadline? This isn't a patch to fix broken game play or major flaws. It's an update, admittedly that a lot of people are looking forward to. Sometimes things take longer than hoped. I'm sure they will be the first to give out more details if and when they have them to share. I would much rather see a well prepared update that works of the bat, than a rushed release with multiple hot fixes for things not finished.
Interesting concept this "Moan Deadline". Come December, I'll be unloading all my problems on the sector 3 forums.
Pcars2 est très décevant. Le ffb qui me paraissait bon à la sortie s'est dégradé avec les update de windows sans savoir pourquoi. AC fait du surplace. Iracing et bien trop cher et gonflant avec leur système d'irating qui ne te protège pas de course de type stock car. AMS est encore moins utilisé que R3E bien que très prometteur et son cycle de développement va s'arrêter bientôt pour faire place à une nouvelle version. Donc au bout d'un moment tu reviens vers R3E et bien content que celui-ci lentement mais surement continue d'évoluer. Personnellement aujourd'hui et avec du recul je le recommande comme Rfactor2 qui avance aussi très positivement.

Even if they are not allowed or simply don't want to share why it is delayed, at least one day before they could have told everyone in a "semi-private" way that the patch won't come. It's just giving and taking. If they use the forum to tease and advertise for the new cool stuff, it just would be fair if they also use it to say: "Sorry, give us more time please" and not just post a "no milk today" video. I mean if we shouldn't care about RR, then we also can unistall it and delete the forum account. Also as an official of S3 you can't post anything related to the game and then say:"Oh it's no official news,..don't complain"... Again, I don't complain about the delay itself...that's fine, I just would like them to be consistent in their communication. That's simply not they way a producer should treat his costumers. If my work would take longer then planed and my boss or costumers would complain about it, the last thing I'd do is making a sarcastic statement like this. I think most would get fired.

Some people will read negativity and others see it as joke. If they were acting dead serious, we would hear nothing at all imo. In a "light" environment you can share without majority of people freaking out, when things take different turns. If they don't tease people will complain that we don't get any updates, I am pretty sure they didn't know for some of the announcements how long it took at end. Whatever they do some folks won't be pleased. My personal feeling is the majority is okay/mature enough to not keep chasing topics to get annoyed about.

I think saturday would be the perfect day for release, its my weekend off. If it comes anytime between now and then i will be straight on here complaining about releasing new content while people are away at work and not able to use it.
