Ah yes, forgot about the "verticalOffsetOfPlayerGazeFromMiddleScreenCenter".
Not needed in my case, so I overlooked that. Your tip was correct.

it works great but I have no feeling of speed!
Do you have an idea ?

That is normal, especially on wide tracks.
Increase Fov by special new key bindings in game until it suits your preference.

The realistic lower fov normally allows you more precise driving, at the cost of speed sensation.

    This should help:

    """""
You can tweak the FOV in game, using the assigned keys.

Go to Settings > Control Settings > Secondary Functions
and assign keys to the following functions:
    • TriScr Increase FOV
    • TriScr Decrease FOV
Now go on track, and while in cockpit use those keys to tweak the view exactly to your preference.
    """""

    Edit: ninja'd

Ok, after a few small adjustments, my tests are conclusive and after a few laps you feel less loss of impression of speed, always feeling that the right side (passenger) and turned too far to the right, but it is not very Serious, it would be nice in the future that we can adjust the mirrors. I will drive like her now, thanks

I would never miss this feature and I don’t miss a integrated menu setup.

    Hmmm...
If we are talking about the same thing (triple adjustment while on track ?), I'd say I miss this feature dearly.
I entered the correct (measured) values when I first used the support, but even now I am still testing/adjusting, because with these values the view was wrong.
E.g. in rF2 you can use keys to let the small triple app pop up and adjust while in game. Thus you can directly check the changes and play around to get the exact view wanted. This is now ( I read Sector3 is planning something like it later) impossible and tbh a PITA... I spend so much time and it is still not like I want it to be...

What is the problem you try to solve, which values need adjustment?

    Define wrong.

As long as sizes/angles are correct and distance somewhat okay, I find tuning from there rather well with the keys and I adjust it a bit in-car with seat etc. Basically playing with seat and fov a little per cockpit. But rest is pretty much untouched (same in AC). Be aware the adjustments via key are multipliers on top of original, meaning if you change commandline, the in-game adjustments change their effect.

    In short ? About everything...:D
Sometimes it looks like I found the sweet spot, just to find out that it depends on the cars also. There are a few where it is impossible to find the view I want. The Audi R18 is one of them.
When the angles seem OK for one (or more) cars, I keep stumbling on others where the doors seem to be open...completely turned away from my seat position.
Changing FOV and seat position (I also "need" a possibility to change the seat angle) does not solve the issue and it's back to Steam to change initial values...
I have none of these issues in the other sims...

The up/down angle is influenced by the offset which you can change via keys. There should be no need to change commandline once screen size/bezel/angle are correct.

For me the actual measurements on distance and offset also don't feel right, so I played with them. But I had to do same in AC as a too realistic fov wasn't comfortable.

You have all the tools you need as long as you bind keys for seat and FOV, seat movement will sort out any fine details after you get the FOV right, up and down in FOV sets the angle of view, forward and back is your actual FOV adjustment. Not rocket science!

No, up/down does not set the view angle. It does what it says: move the seat up or down. If you doubt that, just try it out. Move the seat up and down and look at the side screens. There is no angle change, it stays perfectly level.

If you read, the FOV up and down sets the angle of the dangle and yes moving the seat up and down moves the seat up and down!
You have to map keys to use FOV adjustment, nothing to do with the seat!!
