I think it's really bad what players sometimes run online! Some idiots drive extra towards the direction to ram others. I saw it again yesterday. I do not mean any mistakes, that happens to everyone and you can type a short sorry .... Is there no way to block such players? translated by google, if dirty words are here, i wasn't...
I think he wanted to say that you should join servers organized by communities loving racing and not playing racing. Therefore you should join an online community for getting passwords for their servers and so on. Racing community = almost good drivers interested in driving not crashing Servers of community = almost free of wreckers and demolition derby drivers
@First_Potracer also try https://esr-race.com ESR Racing Club, go to website and click on the discord link provided
May I suggest Zero Racing as well? You can find our homepage here: http://reh.enjin.com/zeroracing and you can also add me on steam if you wanna chat about it. But yeah if you wanna escape the idiocy of open servers the answer is to join a league. Find a place you like from a people and regs standpoint and have fun.
As some general advice... if you run your own server, turn on Wrecker Prevention. It will ghost players that drive the wrong way on the track, so they cant take anyone out.
Thank you for answers ! I will look for some leagues next days. It can't continue like that... The wrecker prevention should be enabled on every server i think, but isn't it possible that the owner of the server can block those players, or give a warning to them ? This may help. I am looking for a server with fair racing players which can be used every day. Very good work from all this suggested racing communities, but the special evets are not so often, and if then have no time to drive... Sorry again for bad english, school time was not the best time in my life...
Unfortunately, there is no option for server hosters to warn/kick/ban any player. There are basically no admin-tools at all, no way to post a message of the day, provide more info about who is the hoster of the server or anything. I had to enable wrecker prevention on my own servers just some days ago, because i couldn't go on like this, although i hate to do that, because artificial measures such as "ghost cars" kill the immersion for me. As far as i know Sector 3 is informed about this, and i guess they know that some admin tools are needed.
OK... S3 put this in the next update, it is only needet for the dedicated server program, or not ? Should be very similar...
@First_Potracer If your native language is German, VirtualRacing e.V. (https://www.virtualracing.org/) might be interesting for you, then you will not have any problems with the language.
