Hello guys, I am wondering if there will be published a roadmap for 2018. I'm looking forward to all new improvements and content that will come to raceroom this year. I've tested so many Sims last year but I always come back to raceroom. I mean you don't have to promise anything but I guess the Community is really keen about to know what will come this year. We do like surprises like Sepang :) we have a lot of GT3 cars now. So I guess the cars are almost complete. No new DTM cars this year therefore there will be no new physics for the old DTM cars I assume. New tracks? New features? Night? (I hate project cars but the dynamic weather is awesome) we are always hungry :)

Same here - I tried so many Simulations but always come back to R3E - it's just absolutely perfect for me.

I am very interested in news about the Multiplayer Safety system (or however it will be called in R3E), new licences (I would love the ADAC GT Masters 2016 and 17 - the Grid is nearly complete aside from the Lamborghini Huracan GT3) and everything else.

2017 was a great year for R3E with so many improvements - a big thanks to the team! Really, really great.

S3 is like a restaurant without a menu. Just sit down and wait. Sooner or later something will be served.
It's just that nobody knows when or what.

I'm not convinced that we will get more options for setup which should be basic like tires pressure or asymmetrical setup but then it's a time for more options for multiplayer races. Hope to see buttons for server restart, kick, ban, vote, normal chat, send a message to friend in RR portal etc.

Getting there, but still missing some, including:

    https://www.blancpain-gt-series.com/car/56/aston-martin-vantage-v12-gT3
https://www.blancpain-gt-series.com/car/62/emil-frey-jaguar-g3 (doubt this will ever happen)
    https://www.blancpain-gt-series.com/car/63/ferrari-458-italia-gt3
    https://www.blancpain-gt-series.com/car/64/ferrari-488-gt3
    https://www.blancpain-gt-series.com/car/66/lamborghini-huracan-gt3
    https://www.blancpain-gt-series.com/car/73/porsche-997-gt3-r

I realise the Italian marques, especially Lamborghini, may be difficult to license, but what about Aston Martin?

and would be nice to fill-in the gaps for the tracks in the Blancpain GT series (see: https://www.blancpain-gt-series.com/calendar ) i.e.
    • Brands Hatch (full layout, as used for Blancpain GT - we only have the much shorter "Indy" layout, there also additional layouts)
    • Misano World Circuit
    • Circuit de Barcelona - Catalunya

Great suggestion! I like Raceroom, and I understand the "Here you are" / surprise policy (like the last time with Sepang), but I don't really like this new way. Let the kids write / cry "When we get our cars?", "When we get our tracks?" … and give us a road map / official announcements again, please. Thank you @Sector3 / @RaceRoom.

As for DTM, the cars remain the same until next year when Mercedes drops out and maybe two other manufacturers join with new regulations. Now as WTCC and TCR merged there is a nice gap between DTM and WTCR that should be much cheaper to run with more competition and close racing. Speaking of which....WTCR and GT4 could be exciting new series for racing on sims as well as in the real world.

Yeah, not so bothered about that (and I own the RUF), it's more the Aston Martin and all the Italian cars we still need for a real GT3 grid...

I just renewed my iRacing subscription for 3 months, testing wise. I also bought the Nordschleife because I was to curious. Man, I am blown away :) don't get me wrong here, I don't want Sector3 coping iRacing but some features are great. Cameras can be adjusted in game, not xml stuff or so. I love watching replays and that is the tool to tweak them.
Adjustable FOV for the rear mirror. Real stereo sounds like engine, wind, gravel, etc. :) the Mercedes sound great :) OK, I got a bit crazy lol
Lab selector for replays .... the penalty system is strict but fair. and and and

Not to forget the Frey Jaguar GT3, though I fear the chances for that one are less than those of a Ferrari and Lambo

So, this turned out to be another ‚wish list‘ thread quickly...
I think S3 would be good to not going into detail, what’s up for 2018. We all have seen what happened here within the forum with early announcements... but I would sure appreciate a rough roadmap with some milestones/priorities.

A rough roadmap with planned things, work currently in progress and everything to be released in the next 3 months would be sufficient enough - but no fixed release dates, please... It would be nice to know that there's something going on and what it will be. Just think about it as a marketing tool so nobody leaves RRRE for pCars2 or iRacing

Well the GT2/Gr. A physics update are about a year or two late, how about we start from there.
