the disconnections is annoying but the real problem is that sometimes with the disconnections the throttle pedal stops working and you have to restart the raceroom. It happens always when you leave the box, never while you're racing
So 2 days in now with V3's connected to base and have seen 2 messages appear so far saying Device Disconnected/Connected..And increasingly becoming more frequent.
Having a lot of trouble with this today after rebooting my pc,disconnected about 10 times just while I checked the leaderboard before driving ,along with raceroom doing a first time install every time I start it
Yeh it's a very strange one, it varies each day, but steadily get's worst, would love to beable to test this in a offline mode (which we don't have) as it always feels like something online is causing it, what is more annoying is not getting any response saying it is being looked into..
Yeh me as well, but I have dropped back to the previous two just for testing purposes, and didn't make any difference.
i should have put i was driving, then paused, checked the leaderboard, meanwhile the disconnect notices were spamming the top of my screen. Not even a reply from a dev or tester, whats going on with this?
honestly, it's a year i'm here, and i have seen fixed, adjusted and upgrade always everything, so don't panic
Hi, Some bugs are difficult to solve and reproduce (this one is one of them) Not everyone is affected by this bug. be patient
Is it possible it comes from your power supply not having enough power? It would explain why it works when pedals are connected to wheel. Is there another USB peripheral that you can unplug to free some power consumption?
It doesn't work correctly when connected to the base as stated above, it was thought is was working but then the same thing started to creep in..
Even in that case it makes me think of a power issue, not sure though, but if possible I'd try with another power supply.
So you telling us that everyone that has this problem has a power issue all at the same time... which only comes into effect when R3E..
The prob is only on R3E not on others simulations and since update x64 And deconnections are not real, only popups when back on the main menu R3E, no problem in race with neither periphérique and I specify no fanatec
That's only a thought. But for example, imagine if R3E communicates with the wheel/pedals at a higher frequency than the other games, maybe it could request more USB power ?... OK it's only R3E since x64, but some players don't have this issue, so there's a hardware or software difference on your side. I'm just trying to imagine what it could be. In the past I got a computer crashing every time (and only when) Emule was downloading too much files, cause power supply was not enough (probably related with network adapter power consumption when opening too much connections). ^^
