From today the position bar at 64bit is enlarged and I can't see the lap time and the remaining time, in a session.

At 32bit is okay.

What do you see with the HUD Manager? You should be able to fix it, click "Reload from R3E", select position bar and set the size to 1 or less.

Are you guys using triple screens by chance?

On 1 monitor, the position bar is fine here.

Hmm, I just tried a leaderboard challenge and couldn't reproduce this issue. (Using single screen 1080p)

Agree with nate and Karting. In addition, did you observe this in any particular mode, mp maybe? If so, please give the steps to reproduce.

@ChatCureuil, I haven't used that app, but I prefer the devs to find the problem.

No VR, at the hud options, it says:
Position Bar Size

<value type="Vector2">{1.000000 1.000000}</value>

As for the settings I didn't change anything at all.

As you said it's ok when using 32bit and enlarged when using 64bit, could you make two comparison screenshots please? (Default hotkey is F12, screenshots will be stored in C:\Users\abc\Pictures\SimBin\Captures)
Because as of now we still can't find anything unusual about the position bar in either version on our end.

@Christoph and @Giorgos Tzanetos what resolutions are you guys using?

EDIT: So I think I have this figured out, lower than 1080p resolutions don't scale the UI down correctly when running in x64 atm.

Thanks for reporting this and providing the info and screenshots. Shall be fixed asap.

Thank YOU for getting to this so soon. I noticed it yesterday and have spent a lot of time checking resolutions, monitor settings and game settings. I just came here to see if it had been reported.

I just use 64 bit. Raced last night and noticed I didn't have the lap time or race times on the ends of the position bar display. Checked the video and sure enough, it was way too large and ran off the ends of the view.

Looking forward to the patch/repair... Thanks

First i thought it is an issue with the Hud-Manager. Then i have removed the hud_options.xml to restore the original file.

In 1440p also it does not scale.
Same on 32 and 64bit version.

Same here!

Position Bar Issue

Hello, Dear Sector 3!

Take a look at my position bar size.
It's something wrong, it's very huge, so huge that I can see how many time left...

My screen resolution is 1440*900

Best regards, Yevgeny.

Not sure if this was already discussed in another thread? (could not find it via the search function).

I race in VR and and in visual settings the resolution is set to 3840x2160. When I start a race or a challenge the position bar shows very tiny font size. But when I start a 'leaderboard challenge' via the in game webbrowser the position bar shows good readable letters. This is how I would always want to see it inmy VR goggles. Is that possible?

Edit: just tested it again, but sometimes it does change the font size and sometimes it doesn't? DPi scaling? Thanks for the advises

Screenshot 1 in VR is very hard to read, ss2 is good.

Still waiting for a fix. I can add to the confusion by inserting my 2 cents. My laptop (Dell Inspiron 17" with Intel HD video @ 1280x720) and my desktop (Lenovo with 2GB Asus R7 240 graphic card @ 1280x720) do not render the same. Laptop has no enlarged position bar:[IMG]

The desktop does have the enlarged position bar: 2018-04-06 1050 0001.jpg

Same setup for both screen captures... Help!
