    Hello,
I just want to ask if R3E support this kind of monitor.
Its 32:9 ultrawide monitor and I read on some forum that Raceroom dont have 32:9 aspect ratio in menu. Was this fixed already or not?[IMG]

What are your feelings with that monitor? Do you have any picture what is FOV on that display?

It gives me in menu only 21:9 and 3840x1080 resolution. In game it stretch to full monitor, but I see HUD in the top very big.
Do you have 32:9 option in game video settings?

I want to buy one of this instead VR or 3 monitor setup. Now I'm using a 21:9 34" DELL monitor and is great but it's my main monitor and it's a little bit unconfortable adjust the monitor every time I do simracing. Is this a suggested upgrade? (I want to put the monitor on a dedicated location for simracing)

Do you have same problem with this top position bar?
It does not look too big on screenshot, but on monitor it looks insanely huge. I must turn it off, because its quite disturbing when its so big.

@lucazpf I recommend this monitor for sure. I have it first day now, but Im really impressed. If you have spare money to buy that, do it. :) And its 144Hz, so you get smooth image. Also be aware that you need a lot of space for it. Its a beast :D

I have around 200fps when playing leaderboard challenge, so 1 car on track. I did not test race with ~30 cars in grid, but I will let you know how many FPS I am running at.

I had 24" tripple screen setup before and I had quite problem with FPS because there was 5760x1080p resolution and I got around 70fps with opponents on track. Alone it was around 100fps.

But I have all graphics settings in game almost at maximum (except motion blur - OFF), so there is quite big reserve in case of FPS issues.

    I'm evaluating the LG 38uc99
It's the same price (maybe a little less) of the Samsung 49" and in my case it's ideal because I do not have so much space

Bump, even if it doesn't look bad it will be cool to get a proper 32:9

Only menus are 21:9, game is full 32:9 already even without the option in the settings. Getting precisely the same horizontal view in cockpit as iRacing with identical FOV settings.

edit: nevermind didn't read the thread properly, I am not using hud/virtual mirror so didn't have experience with stretching

Hi, that's a good hint. Im still not sure about the 3840 x 1080 p. I saw that monitor in a shop, it looked quite pixelated. A 1080 ti or 2080 ti is more powerful than a 980 ti but when the next generation has 5120 x 1440 p I'm not sure if this getting any better. I think you need a least 90 fps to get a smooth feeling on such a big screen. What do you think guys.

1080p is good enough for gaming, certainly beats VR in sharpness. But in regular desktop use it is not enough. 5120 x 1440p would be awesome. In my experience you will need about 85fps or higher to properly take advantage of the motion blur reduction settings in Samsung CHG90. For sim racing if I had to choose between 120fps with 1080p and 90fps with 1440p I would take the former.

that's the thing, when games become more demanding hardware wise like ACC, I don't know if a RTX 2080 Ti is enough for 120 fps and 30 cars on track. I mean on a monitor with 5120 x 1440 p
