They only lock up a little, and that's at very low speed. I don't know if the actual class at the time period represented had that.

I actually prefer to have ABS in R3E because there's no flat-spotting implemented yet, so there's no downside to lock up the brakes all the time in an unrealistic manner.

I dont think so. At least the radical doesn't.
If they do they shouldn't have.

Locking up the brakes increases tire wear and increases the time taken to slow your car down.

...And with locked breaks you go straight. No steering possible...

They don't have ABS. I experimented with maximum front brake bias, and they locked easily. But barely any extra wear is put on locked brakes, even with extreme abuse that would rupture a real tire. They can be locked for a full two to three seconds straight and not suffer a full one-percent of wear. Locking hard in every braking zone is faster over a single lap than driving realistically. Only in longer races would the minimal amount of wear added start to make lap times slower.

Contrast this to reality, where a single bad lockup can ruin a tire.

To be fair, AMS and rF2 also have this type of indestructible tire, even if they do have flatspotting.

Performance is immediately and significantly diminished in AC when a lockup occurs, but they bounce back too much when they cool off again.

I'll let you in on a little secret: it's usually best to brake before the corner, not in the middle of it. ;)

Actually, if you are trailbraking, you should be braking a little while turning.

Thanks for correcting me; I never should have stated that braking before the corner was always best, with no exceptions...

...oh, wait. That's not what I stated at all.

Oh, is this a discussion because of a discussion or are there any information wanted?

P1 and P2 are without ABS, but they should have TC.

Doesn't feel like they have ABS, but you can go in pretty deep on the brakes (depends on the corner etc ofcourse)
