This server-side update deployed the following tweaks to car physics: Audi TT cup - suspension and handling tweaks, modified the default setup to have front toe out and a softer front anti-roll bar. Formula RaceRoom U.S. - Fixed an issue where the car would sometimes miss gearshifts by reducing drivetrain elasticity, also tweaked the torque curve and modified the turbo boost. GTR 3 car class - BOP adjustments based on performances recorded since last adjusts. Tweaks to standing start launch logic so starting abilities are equalized for all the cars. Reduced drivetrain elasticity of all cars. Porsche Cayman Clubsport - suspension tweaks and reduced drivetrain elasticity.
Here are what changes were made to the GTR3 BOP: GTR3 car class - BOP revisions: C7-GT3R +4hp; Nissan GTR +2hp; Ford GT +1.5hp & added some more front downforce; Bentley +2hp BMW M6 - Suspension was started again from scratch All cars in the GTR3 car class Reduced drivetrain oscillations
Cool, since none of the cars was slowed down, I assume no leaderboard reset is necessary. Can't say much about the others but the Ford GT definitely needed extra front grip and horsepower!

Nice to see the Callaway Corvette to get a touch of help. It needed it IMO. It will be interesting to see where the BMW M6 fits in now.
It's most noticible on downshifts or when releasing the throttle rapidly. The cars used to wobble quite extensively in those situations, which should be reduced now, increasing vehicle stability. This reduction might also help a little with the pit limiter bouncing, but it's not the ultimate fix for that.
Can you tell me please why the tweaks have been made and what the consequences are in fact? I'm just asking cause I use the Cayman in an online-series. Thanks a lot!
The suspension tweaks were to fix the dampers, which weren't being positioned correctly. The drivetrain elasticity was changed to reduce the transmission oscillations overall, but particulary in low gears when off the throttle.
Cayman feels very different now. Before the update it was very easy to lose the back end of the car at corner entry and once gone was difficult to recover. Now the car feels much more forgiving and consequently easier to race which is probably more realistic given its intended RL market. It's a great drive now but I do miss that on the edge feeling of the old version.
The toe in/out settings now seem very odd (Also moves in tenths versus whole numbers?). It seems very unstable with straight up neutral toe. It feels like under compression (in a turn) with toe out and some decent negative camber - the toe is doing very little. The initial “turn in” is very sharp, but then falls off fast and very unstable trying to trail brake. Feels a lot more like heavy “toe in” versus “toe out” (positive). Anyone else figure this out or just disagree?!
Yes, I feel it like you. Tested it yesterday. Much easier to handle now. This is very good for endurance races.
It did suck when you were 15 laps deep in Bathurst and all of a sudden your car was part of the wall But yeah, that on-edge driving was tense in a good way.
