@FeltHλt Choosing the footage and recording it take plenty of time, but editing is OK. What is your workflow? Can you post a short guide for the custom cameras that you use? I tried and placed one, but couldn't restart the replay from it.
Bind every single camera movement key there is in option+ time forward and backward. I know what i want to record or simply hover over the track in speed motion and wait for something to happen. For example 1:43, i see some spin, i select that car, then click camera icon with camera on it, then press free flight camera once (q, my bind), zoom out, select your shot, zoom in. Shot is on slow mo so press time forward once, as u can see camera movement is slow so press * and (but im not sure here) keep pressing page down so additional "slowness" . Camera movement is move right (right arrow) and tilt right (9). So place your camera, select zoom (-+), then make sure * is selected, press time forward (h) then at once page down+right arrow+9 Any any additional info u can add me on steam http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198020144236/ edit: getting used to controls is the key for example, free cam (my q) lets you move camera freely, but if you are in car binded camera mode u can move your camera only in close distance to the car- but if you press q only once, camera will follow the car while pressing it twice will unbind its movement from everything. There's also a matter of selecting a proper camera so driver has a head and interior is properly rendered but its easy to understand in action edit2: whole thing took me around 10h to make, its good thing to make some pre production in your head before you start working, select music, decide what you want to include etc, divide music into parts (like beginning, crashes etc if its possible) so you hop in game and record what you need without wasting time. 71 clips were recorded so i didnt have to delete much how it looks in action:
Everything works as you said, I tried, but it's hard for me with so many buttons because I have limited hand movement. I'll stick to more racing and less recording.
Try binding everything to arrows and numeric keypad so everything is close. Check your buttons before shot, memorize combination so you dont have to think about it. Press play forward with left hand while having already right hand on numeric keypad on proper buttons, then left hand on optional page down+arrows
Friend, this Edgardo Ferri (Argentine) is shot the most dirty and disloyal player I have ever seen in Raceroom online rooms. In all the rooms that he enters to "play", he arranges confusion, beats and spoils all the fun of the other players. Raceroom urgently needs to put the option to eject bad players in the server options.
