Problem No FFB (after 8May2018 update)

Tolle Wurst, da wird endlich die Positions-/Zeit Anzeige gefixt und nun das ....
Sieht so aus als müsste ich das Ligarennen morgen absagen ... (schlimm genug das ich dieses jahr nicht zum 24h Rennen kann)

 

Du musst es versuchen. Bei vielen ist nix passiert.

 

I only lose FFB when I change something with the settings (ffb, sound, controller profile etc). Then I have to exit to main menu and start race or practice over, but then everything works fine.

I had a similar problem with loss of FFB last night on my T300RS.
After Switch to practice-session of the 2nd race on the server, I lost FFB completely. I had to disconnect from the server, leave the game and start it again. After that alle works fine, but its frustrating and stressful during league-race to leave teh game on session switch. Never had the problem before.

 

Same problem here. Using SC4 and an Accuforce. I get no FFB. Starts out soft and then just goes away completely.

 

same here with DD + mmos
starting in hotlap or trainning for exemple, everything is ok. When come back in pit for car settings and back on track, no more ffb

 

@AriBo it seems to be related with mmos.
Is it possible for you to try Simucube?

 

no .. not ready for the moment (scary ?) to try it. And as simucube is not on V1.0, i'd prefer to wait

 

I’m sadly another person without ffb now and I don’t have a direct drive. Fanatec v2 base. I also get horrible stuttering FPS (like 4-6fps), I then power off the base - the stuttering stops (back to 90fps) - power the base back on (FPS stays at 90) but no ffb of any kind.

I never had any ffb issue prior to the update. Nor ever seen the stuttering FPS related to the wheel.

yes me too.
Fanatec CSL elite here.
No FFB at all and even with good fps its very horribly laggy.
Unplayable at the moment. Any news on a fix for this?

 

Any chance your not plugged into a usb 3 port with your base?

For giggles this morning I switched my base over to a usb 3 port and it fixed both the FPS stutters and got ffb back.

I haven't start the game since 3 days cause all the bugs (no ffb, lags, crash)

It's definitely in a usb3 port but maybe I could try usb 2 instead?

edit: ok for a test tried usb 2, still the same.

 

Just delete the old profiles, RaceRoom start all new settings, then the FFB will work fine again.

 

where find the old profile ?
it'll reset all the settings ffb (and other settings) ?

I think it has something to do with running in windowed mode and alt-tab or moving off screen. They broke something in the last patch that's for sure.

 

I alt-tab continuously and I don't affect anything for me :/
I use borderless window mode

 

Same problem over here... And we´re running a champ with a new race this Sunday... I hope it gets fixed soon...
