Hello guys. My games keeps crashing more often. 4 times in one week now. "Describe what you were doing when the crash occurred" I was paticipating in a SRS online race 3 times it crashed while driving (Bathurst GT3, Suzuka ADAC GT Masters, Hockenheim DTM 2016) and one time while session end of Qualifying (Mantorp Porsche GT3 Cup) https://clips.twitch.tv/PlausibleHonorableBobaChocolateRain https://clips.twitch.tv/BenevolentEnticingOctopusTF2John "Mention whether the game has worked for you previously" before that I didn't have changed anything and finished a lot of races without any crash before or after them! "Mention any changes you've made to your system recently" nothing "List your hardware specifications" Intel i7 8700k MSI Geforce 1080 8G MSI Z370 SLI Plus Motherboard Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 3200 4 x 8 GB (32 GB) "Include the crash dump file from the crash, if one exists" in the appendix
Not entirely sure what's causing the crashes. I've reported them so a programmer can have a look at them!
and once again while driving leaderboard I do not want to annoy you, just want to post as many dmp files i can, so hopefully you find something edit: just happened 30 minutes later again

After the most popular update about problems this year, my race finished and back to main menú but now game crash directly. What is the solution?
hey Racer...i posted this in a similar thread a few days ago. It helped me...give it a go. I only had to do what was in red...although there is more to try if that does not work...good luck. Download PDF Game is crashing on Windows 10? J-F Chardon 2018-01-19 0 Comments in FAQ Windows 10 will sometimes assign Windows Vista compatibility setting to either the game or to Steam. This causes a crash of the game related to in-game overlays. To resolve this issue: You need to make sure that no compatibility settings are applied to either Steam or RaceRoom executables. This can be done by running the compatibility tool on the Steam and RaceRoom executable:. Go to the game's installation folder. By default it should be the following: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\raceroom racing experience\Game Find the RRRE.exe file Right-Click on it In the menu that appears, click on "Troubleshoot compatibility" A new window with a progress bar appears. When it is finished, click "Try recommended settings" Click the "Test program" button If the game works, click the "Next" button On the final page, click "Save these settings for the program" and close the window once the changes are saved. Go to the Steam’s installation folder. By default it should be the following: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\ and repeat these steps. If this does not work, try setting compatibility settings to Windows XP Service Pack 3. If none of the above solves the issue, you may need to remove some values in the registry. NOTE: Editing the registry can cause severe issues if not done properly, and you should not do so unless you feel confident that you can handle it. Hit start->run->regedit Go to key: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\AppCompatFlags\Layers Look for an entry with your path to steam.exe Delete that entry If you dont find it there try HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\AppCompatFlags\Layers Repeat this process looking for an entry with your path to RRRE.exe
since there wasn't any answer anymore i moved to another sim... maybe some day I will try the approach u posted here... anyway thank you for sharing!
