Problem No FFB (after 8May2018 update)

They know about it and im sure they are just as frustrated as we are. Give them some time to straighten it out.

 

Fix the FFB problems is not an option, it will be fixed ASAP

No one from Sector 3 coment this Thread, thats no Costumer Support. The Game is good, but with this Patch more Player leave the Game and change to IRacing etc.... At last no Players like to play that bugy Game at the Moment a pity

 

Of course the team is working on it to fix this issue. We just received a new test build, on the weekend, so this is the highest priority that everyone who wants to drive has the chance to drive!

 

Same problem for me unfortunately. Fanatec CSL Elite Base with Clubsport Formula Wheel.

Will miss a league race unfortunately due to this and will be relegated to Grid 2

I noticed yesterday a quick fix of how to get back the ffb without having to exit the current session you are in.
For me this works every time.
When returning to the pits, changing in options or restarting a session, the only thing you need to do when out on track again and ffb is gone is to enter "R" for quick replay and exiting the replay the ffb comes back every time.
Not sure if this works for online sessions but for practice and racing against AI it works.
Still bad that you have to do this but still better than have to quit so that one can complete a race weekend.
Hopefully this works for others too.

I mapped a button on my wheel to replay to make it easier.

 

For fanatec there is a fix.. delete controller profiles in the controller directory.. restart.. make new profile.. good to go

this only seems to be affecting direct drive folks?

I will try this Replay thing to see if it works for me? It seems like the best current option until fixed.

By the way, this issue is very frustrating and inconvenient but it is fair to give a credit to developers for creating such a great simulator. Things can go wrong sometimes but I trust that the RR development team are on top of their game and doing their best.

What about the multi without instant replay ?

 

I'm sure you guys will find a fix to the bug, but any chance of delaying the Mercedes DTM challenge until then? I only got a few laps in before quitting in frustration since the FFB kept dropping out. I really want to get more seat time with this DTM '95 (with working FFB!) before it disappears.
