Hi, everyone. Watched a replay of a lap around Zandvoort and found this severe rear lockup in the high speed corner when no brakes where applied, someone know what is causing this, should it be like this or if it is a glitch or other problem. Never before experienced rear lookup with no brakes applied, diff settings 3, anyone else got the same?

FWD-Engined cars always have a tendency to such a behaviour. It's not a lockup of the rear wheel, it's just the wheel loosing contact to the ground. That often happens in fast corners, in which the rear wheel from the inside of the corner is loosing contact to the surface as the weight of the car moves to the opposite side.

Thanks for the reply, that makes total sense. That is good, everything is in order unless it is starting to oversteer. :) I did know it happens in slow corners and can help FWD cars turn but dont believe I have seen it in high speed corner until today.

I know the prequal track won't be disclosed until the first day of the event but a little hint for us maybe? :D
Is it going to be from the 3 prologue rounds? Or maybe not even in the WTCR calendar, just a random track? :D

    Hello,

I want to have some basic info about the travel to the Nürburgring. I’ll be there on Friday at about 2 pm or later.
How is the traffic on 24h weekend?
Is it really bad or has it already cooled down on Friday?
And what about parking? I’m already pretty late for qualification and I don’t want to waste an additional hour to find a parking spot. I know there are plenty around the ring arena but I can only imagine how full they will be.
Thanks for any advice. It will be my first time at the 24h race so I need some information about that. ;)

    Hi Moritz,
there might be allways a lot of traffic at this Weekend.
My plan is to drive not through Adenau, and i think ist better to come from the other side over the A1.
Most of the traffic might be Adenau,Brünnchen and Pflanzgarten.
    Parking area C .

In the end, you`ll never know if its the right way.

    KEEP RACIN

I just want to point out that we have the FREE BUS SHUTTLE from Bonn to NRing!

There are still quite a few spots open for each day, so feel free to register and get a carefree ride to the Event.
I just spoke with the Bus guys, you can still register this weekend.

    Hi guys,
i`d like to thank everyone who`s involved to make this WTCR LAUNCH EVENT like it was.
It was amazing to be part of it, the whole atmosphere was great.
I had a lot of fun over the Weekend.
By the way, i was frustrated about my Performance, specially in leaderboard quali,
so i am looking forward to do it better in the upcoming championchip.

A big hand to Rob and James.

So in the end KEEP RACIN

Second that. I wasn't there but wish I could of been. Watched a lot of it on Twitch and you all (apart from one) did yourself proud. I'm sure future events will benefit from the success of this launch event.

    KEEP RACING (AND NOT DISGRACING)!

I just wanted to say, despite some problems here and there, I am so unbelievably happy that we actually held our promise and did this event, and that so many simracers turned up.

About prize money, make sure that you understand: YOU have to contact US in order to claim the money, with the details listed in the rulebook.

Hi simracers! I have to give a huge thumb up for this event! It was my first ESports event, and because I'm involved in real life in motorsport, I never thought that a simracing experience can bring me such a big satisfaction and emotions ... even if I'm racing a 500+ HP race car IRL :))). I was (almost) the last one in all 3 races, but being in second division it was a big surprise for me. I had such a great time during the event... except the broken leg :(. Anyway, I felt more relaxed in the ambulance, when I saw the Nurburgring logo layed inside the ambulance walls :))

    @Robert - Regarding constructive criticism
IMHO RaceRoom team did an awesome job with this event, except only one thing: promoting the event. Both online and offline. It was a bit frustrating to have such a nice place (arena) with just a few people in it :(. On the other hand, I had to browse the forum to find out who won the event (well done Kunze) ...Things like that should be on all social media walls of the esports followers, no longer than next day! It's a pity for all the things done there, like livestreaming, arena, prize money ...

My last degree was in marketing and maybe I can see these things from a different angle :)
For example, You could give to all 88 racers the POV of their races, in order to publish them on their YTB channels ...it's just an example.

Anyway thanks for this experience and NOROC to everybody! (NOROC means "cheers/ good luck" in romanian language)

Let me know if I can help :)

    Alex #brokenleg :(

    Hey Alex!
Hope you are doing better now with your leg. At least it was a good story for the stream!

Promotion is a known issue and something we want to fix for next time. This time we had some restrictions when it came to promoting at the Nürburgring, due to Gran Turismo. And in general promo has never really been one of our strong suits. But for sure we work something out for the future.

    Hi everyone !

I would like to give my personal feelings about esports event held in Nurburgring

It’s my first time to participate at one of this event… And I really love it!!

I come from with my friends in Germany just to discover this competition and to see Nurburgring competition (WTCR, 24 hours). I really appreciate on Friday, the real drivers come to play on simulators. I can exchange with them without disturbing. It’s a very good moment.

Organization was perfect, live broadcast was amazing, all drivers was cool and fair except one team which come from the same country of me…

Like Alex, only downside, the promotion of the event. I know RR it is small game compared to GT or Forza but it’s really a very good game (a real simracing) but with this event you can brng a very good visibility and can help you to grow.

Moreover, I can play with the better players in Europe. The level was very high but I am happy with my results because I am in the middle of big teams.

If you organize another event and if I can, I would be delighted to participate again!!

PS: I have send an email to have cash prizes. But I have no response. It is normal?
