DTM season differences

I own the 2013 season. Some time ago, I recall that all of the DTM seasons received the same physics update. Physics-wise, is there any reason to buy the subsequent seasons? For instance, does the 2016 BMW handle any differently to the 2013 version?

 

I believe there is no difference at all in terms of physics.
