    Hey,
I have to re-setup my windows installation.
There is no problem in re downloading the games, but which directory I have to save that I don't have to make the setup for R3E new?
    This must be for
    Car setups and game setups.

    Thanks in advance.

All settings, setups, replays, etc. saved in:
    [userprofile]\Documents\my games\SimBin\RaceRoom Racing Experience\

Ah, fantastic. Is it like that at all Steam Games?

    No.
It depends on the game. Some games save it in userprofile, some in steam cloud or in the game folder, but others somewhere else.

A full backup is always recommended.
But mostly your complete userprofile folder (including the hidden directories) should be enough if you have not enough space for a full backup.

If you don't want to save your replays, you can delete the content of Documents\My Games\SimBin\RaceRoom Racing Experience\ReplayData. It could use several GB of space.

    Just a note:

Don't backup this folder on a non-NTFS partition/HDD/NAS/whatever. Some of the files (I know this at least for the replays) are using ADS and if you copy these files to anything non-NTFS, the information stored in the ADS will be gone.

Managing replays can be a pain. It's quite likely plenty of people have their system drives filled with gigabytes worth of replays without even having an idea about that.

Perhaps mentioning it in one of the tips on the loading screen might be a good idea?

is there anyway to bulk delete replays, or are you forced to delete them one at a time?
even better would be an option to NOT save them at all!
