Round 3 - This one was still missing

Stewards: Mike Bell / Robert Wiesenmüller

    Van Daalen vs. Pereira Tang
    Lap 5 Turn 10

Pereira Tang gets into the back of Van Daalen and hits him off the track.

    3 points - 1 strike - Nuno Pereira Tang

    ---------------

    Round 4

Stewards: Mike Bell / Robert Wiesenmüller

    Server 3

    Courtois vs. Stevanovic
Lap 1 leading up to Turn 13

Stevanovic drives into the side of Courtois on the straight, spinning him off.

    3 points - 1 strike - Milan Stevanovic

    Server 1
    Nandori vs. Leitner/Maulana/Löhner
    R1 Lap 1 Turn 1

Leitner turns into turn one, not too early but he has 2 cars on the inside. He goes across Maulana's nose, who turns in a bit late (but has cars on his inside too). Leitner goes sideways, and hits Löhner, who gets sent into Nandori.
This is really just a minimal mistake by Leitner which snowballs into Nandori getting hit off.

    Warning - Norbert Leitner

    Löhner vs. Goarant
    R1 Lap 1 Turn 13

Goarant changes his line 5 times on the straight to block Löhner. Löhner goes through aggressively, while Goarant then pushes Löhner straight back on the exit.
All other contacts between them are seen as normal hard racing.

    5 points - Gaetan Goarant

    Leitner vs. Flauzino
    R1 Lap 8 Turn 13

Flauzino brakes too late and pushes Leitner off.

    10 points - 1 strike - Elisson Flauzino

    Löhner vs. Goarant
    Goarant vs. Löhner
    R2 Lap 1, Lap 4, Lap 5, Lap 6, Lap 7

On lap 1, Löhner and Goarant race hard but normal.
On lap 4 Goarant changes line under braking, which costs Löhner a position to Nandori. (5P)
On lap 5 Goarant reports the wrong person.
On lap 6, Goarant comes across Löhner again and causes a dangerous situation which costs Leitner a place. (5P)
On lap 8 in turn 10, Löhner hits Goarant and then afterwards, squeezes him onto the grass, costing Goarant 2 positions. (10P)

    10 points - 1 strike - Gaetan Goarant
    10 points - 1 strike - Moritz Löhner

    Dencs vs. Hasse
    R2 Lap 9 Turn 1

Coming up to turn 1, Dencs goes one carwidth to the inside and brakes slightly early (maybe 5 m earlier than Wisniewski, but he has to, cause he is a bit on the inside). Hasse brakes very late and would have enough room to just go on the outside of Dencs (nothing would have happened), but he changes his line to the inside and hits the back of Dencs, costing him over 15 places.

    20 points - 1 strike - Florian Hasse

    Total list of strikes:
    Redoine Messaoud – 2
    Christian Garcin – 2
    Florian Hasse – 1
    Moritz Löhner - 1
    Gaetan Goarant - 1
    Elisson Flauzino - 1
    Milan Stevanovic - 1
    Nuno Pereira Tang - 1
    Damian Hall – 1
    Tiago Mendes – 1
    Nikodem Wisniewski – 1
    Marco Müller – 1
    Attila Dencs – 1

The championship standings will be updated on Saturday.

After a longer break due to the real WTCR races, the Esports WTCR Oscaro returns this Sunday from the challenging circuit of Suzuka. With its twisty first sector, long straights, hairpins, chicanes and ultra-fast corners like the 130R, this track demands everything from the drivers and a good balance in the setup. Perhaps the outcome of the Esports race will be foreshadowing the performance of the cars in the FIA WTCR race which takes place one week later.

In the championship, Volkswagen driver Florian Hasse has lost the lead after receiving a penalty for an incident with Attila Dencs in the Slovakiaring race, and with a 16th place in pre-qualifying, it looks like a difficult round is ahead. The new leader of the championship is Bence Bánki (Oscaro eSports by SDL / Honda), who is in terrific shape, topping the timesheets of the Suzuka leaderboard ahead of Nikodem Wisniewski and Redoine Messaoud.

Kevin Siggy Rebernak has moved up into second in the championship, and the Slovenian driver goes into the race with a lot of confidence, having just won another simracing tournament, the Mercedes-AMG eRacing Competition, on the past weekend. Rebernak used the Audi on the qualifier and finished 4th, but for the race, he will be back in the Hyundai.

Several real WTCR drivers made an appearance on the leaderboard, in order to prepare for the FIA WTCR race. Mat’o Homola was the fastest, almost a second quicker than Yann Ehrlacher, but they both were beaten by a former WTCC racer: Ferenc Ficza, who competed for Zengo Motorsport in the 2016 season, finished 34th, right in the middle of the fastest simracers of the world.

The live broadcast of the race starts Sunday, October 21st, at 19:00 CEST (17:00 GMT). James Kirk and Robert Wiesenmüller will lead you through the event, and you can watch it on the FIA WTCR OSCARO Facebook page or on YouTube:

Sorry Christian Moi., i was early on the brakes and i was sure you are pressing throttle , but you did not, so that was a little tab from behind.

    Greetings Dirk

The races are also being streamed on Facebook, but running a race parallel to F1 certainly doesn't help.

Ironically, this time the facebook stream performed a bit better than last time when it didn't clash... The YouTube stream certainly did not :)

It’s already the penultimate round of the Esports WTCR OSCARO on RaceRoom, and the drivers are heading to Shanghai, for the only round of the season using a track that is not a part of the real FIA WTCR calendar.

Championship leader Bence Bánki (Oscaro eSports) continued his impressive form and put his Honda at the top of the time sheets in China, edging out EDGE Esports’ Gergo Baldi by 0,273 seconds – the biggest margin in any of the rounds so far. Directly behind them, there was a surprise: Péter Suborits, who won the race of the second division in Suzuka, qualified for the first split for the very first time, and immediately went to 3rd overall. Jaroslav Honzik was the fastest championship rival in 4th place, while Mark Balazsin and Attila Dencs were only separated by one thousandth in 5th and 6th.

For the other championship contenders, there were mixed fortunes. Rebernak and Hasse placed 9th and 10th, both using a different car in the qualifier than in the multiplayer races (Audi and Cupra instead of Hyundai and VW). Alexander Dornieden qualified in 15th, while Jan Stange feared for his spot in the server for a long time and eventually made, albeit only in 20th position.

Once again, there will be a live broadcast, on Sunday, October 4th, at 19:00 CEST (18:00 GMT). James Kirk and Robert Wiesenmüller will lead you through the event, and you can watch it on the FIA WTCR OSCARO Facebook page or on YouTube:
