After the last update, I can't move the mouse pointer with the controller stick anymore. Was that modified on purpose? What can I do to make it work again?

I get this too. Used to be able to move it and select with the d pad on the g27 shifter. No longer works. It's a small thing but it's quite annoying....especially when all I want to do is resume drive for example....don't really need the keyboard/mouse for that.

Agree, but full functionality would be welcomed

    Same thing for me...
With my G29 and my controller too.
It's not a big issue but navigate with pad was very useful...

    Hi guys,
mouse emulation (f.e. via D-pad) has been changed a bit, but it still works.
The only thing you have to do to get it back is assign either left click (read left mouse click) or back action (or both) to the button(s) you want to use for those functions.

I think he means that when you bind those controls your stick or dpad will start working also

You have to bind at least one of those two functions to a button on the peripheral you want use mouse emulation with. If your gamepad/wheel/etc has a D-pad (Steuerkreuz), that will automatically be assigned for mouse movement emulation.

Nope, doesn't affect it. I have the d-pad assigned to the pit menu functions as well and it works.

Should work, just gotta assign those functions to a button on your wheel.

Hmmm I'm guessing there is more to this story..... Direct movement between menu options maybe...like a console? Would be handy....

Oh....not as exciting as I hoped! It was that way before the update. I hoped maybe that menu options could be highlighted and changed only using d pad and ok/back buttons rather than a virtual mouse

You are a clumsy fella, Nico. :p
It does work just like a mouse, so you have to aim at the little arrows. With a little practice it can be done, but tbh I don't use it to fiddle around in setups either. Still find it's handy if you just want to navigate the main menus without reaching for your mouse.

@ravey1981 That's all it is, just a mouse emulation so you can navigate the mouse cursor with your gamepad etc. Would be nice if we had proper menu implementation like you expected, but my hopes for that are limited.

@Patrick Schilhan Sounds like @Nico Kunze had the same (or a similar) thing that you encountered, but he says switching resolutions isn't solving it permanently. Has it been fixed for good on your end?

Sorry, for the late answer. I will try it in the next days, more information will follow … after the resolution change it worked, but until now I haven't been changing the menu points anymore.
