Was thinking about some additional cars, one in particular could be added to one of the classics categories, this being the Datsun 510 race car like that used by BRE in the American Trans Am series and driven by the likes of John Morton, Mike Downs and Bobby Allison. I believe they competed in the Under 2.5L category of the series while the Corvettes, Mustangs, Javelin's etc ran in the Over 2.5L sister series. It probably qualified for IMSA/FIA 1st Generation Group 5 cars too, though not sure how it would fare against the in-game Group 5 cars though, lol. Might be better for the Touring Classics category in-game?

And you can't add that car without also adding its chief rival in the series, the 1971 Alfa Romeo 1750 GTV or GT Veloce like that driven by Horst Kwech. But I'll leave it up to you developers to decide if you will also add in the special +3 gallon illegal fuel tank like was used in the final race in an all-out attempt to beat the Datun's. Which they did, but too many teams calculated that they should have run out of fuel several laps short of the finish in the last stint and that aroused suspicion. Tech inspections revealed the illegally modified tank, win and championship given to BRE's Datsun. I love racing history!

As i mentioned quite a time ago the Trabant would be THE playmate for the NSU. And @Anthony Monteil has a new challenge to adding the screaming sound of a two stroke.

But for now, except for the Trabant, i want some 70´s/80´s Opels.

- Manta for VLN with animated foxtail (if one car is an icon, a legend, then this car. I almost cried as i saw the damaged Manta on the 24h, glad the could repair that beauty by some cold deformation)

@Sector3 / @RaceRoom: In the year 2020 we celebrate the 30th anniversary of the german reunion. That would be a perfect date for RaceRoom (a very german / european racing sim) to celebrate this special party with a unique race car, which was one of the most important symbols of this reunion - The Trabant 601. Please think about it.

In 1996 i was part of a Belgian racing team and we raced the BPR series at the Nurburgring and i do remember the Lotus Esprit GT1 was on fire.

 

I've already driven this car in another sim, it would be nice to drive this car with decent physics and ffb at some point in the future

 

Oh yeah - just do it That Esprit-Generation is still my most famous Lotus... And it raced in such an exciting time in GT-Racing...
