If you drive in a straight line at a decent speed, give the wheel a quick steering input as if warming your tyres, and let go of the wheel.....do you get the FFB motors fighting each other left and right, continually building in force until the car spins out?

The car should damp itself and straighten up very quickly, but in this case the centring forces act to create a major tank-slapper. Not normal at all.

I'll try it out later, but letting go of the wheel isn't normal either.

Of course, but that's not the point. This is just a way of highlighting how there is something badly wrong with the centring forces.

so your wheel turns 540 or 400 degrees....me and others people must load this game with logitech profiler off, otherwise it is locked at 180 and is unplayble

ive flogged this issue to death over at RD, heres a vid of me just releasing grip/firmness on the wheel. This is how strong the force is. Its not right and no other sim whips it out of my hand like that.

Ill give S3 one more chance to fix it, by mean of this post. Or im afraid RRe will remain uninstalled.

there are many parameters in the FFB setup, put all to zero and increase them one by one. I know it's an hard work but the game worth

i think i tried all of that but problem still remains. the best solution so was was to turn up lateral forces and strength to 200% as i said because it makes the wheel so heavy it sort of stops the oscillation but not in a proper way. I want a proper fix.

Its strange but this problem actually happens in AC in only 1 car, the Ferrari 599 evo. Kunos reckons its realistic that the car is so sensitive or something, but all other cars in sims are fine.

The only one that works is damper because it makes the wheel so heavy. Not a solution at all.

yes james is right, damper is the only thing that rids it. But then you have to activate damper in the wheel driver and then that ruins all my other sims, so i wont set it just to play RRe.

I don't know what wheel you have, but I have a G25 and I have different profiles for differetent games...the exception is R3E: none, profiler off

    I have a G27 and a Steering Sensitivity at 30% helps a lot!

But then you get very little steeeing feedback.

Edit....sorry, you said sensitivity when I thought you meant intensity. Even so, I always run linear steering sensitivity (50) so I'm not prepared to change that.

It´s hard to explain, but besides the dead zone with the G27, I just can´t feel the ground. I just don´t get any information from the FFB. It´s not a matter of intensity, but feeling. I feel always the car "floating". I have more a "drifting experience" than a racing one.
