Hello fellas... I have a problem with all GT3 cars (GTR3 & ADAC GTM) for some time now. Yesterday I tested the new Autodrom Most with the new ADAC GT Masters 2018. And it randomly occured that the cars just pressed the clutch randomly and the engines revved (when clutch engages again the tires slip). Sometimes it just happens on a straight and sometimes in corners. Sometimes it's so bad that I lose the car. I have this problem with ALL GT3 cars and it occurs on all tracks (I first noticed this on Nordschleife after Flugplatz some months ago). Then I didn't have these problems for some time. Now they're back for some weeks. Every other car class I tested doesn't have this problem. The Inputmeter doesn't show any input changes when this occurs so I guess my pedals are fine? Checking files via Steam didn't bring any solution. pls halp. PS: latest game log files from yesterday are attached. are they helpful? ^^
Yes I am getting this too....caused me to crash during the Bathurst event driving the AMG GT3 and have had it in single player too. I wasn't sure if it was something to do with having some engine damage though....see my earlier post re damage.... I haven't noticed it until recently but I have always run with mechanical damage off, maybe just a coincidence....
ok. maybe the autoclutch is going berserk btw it also happens to me with a fresh car in practice. So has nothing to do with engine damage imo
Yes I definitely think something is going on, Alex has said the symptoms could be from damage but I also have seen this in a 10 lap race where I definitely had no damage. It happens both when accelerating, braking or even at constant throttle. Its very difficult to control as you cant predict it.
nope get real, factory abs, factory tc etc... like always.. it just started to happen at one point. I think I first saw something like this when the Mercedes AMG GT3 was released.
Same here, always get real settings. I have driven various GT3 cars extensively and only seen this issue recently ( and anecdotally, only since I turned mechanical damage on)
I have mechanical damage on since i play this sim (2016), so I don't know if this has an influence. First i had it very occasionally, like with the AMG GT3 on Nordschleife. Then long time it was good.. but recently it's getting really worse and I have it in every training session/race etc. But again. only GT3 cars as far as I can tell. I also didn't change any hardware component in the computer. I have a DD wheel since october 2018 but it happened before that too and after getting the DD wheel it was ok for some time.
I think the damage thing is just a red herring..... Hope they find something as it really spoils the racing at the moment.
@Alex Hodgkinson did you get a chance to have a look at this? Should be able to get some seat time tomorrow night so will collect some more video evidence if it happens again....
Yesterday it didn't occur for me in 2 hours driving. Maybe it's some hardware issue (pedals...)? But then again I don't have any problems in all the other Sims. It's really weird. Or something CPU related. Mine is not overclocked.
I also tried to reproduce but couldn't. So, maybe it's linked to some specific settings? Does it happen with a specific TC level? Do you use the default setup? (default TC levels?) Does it also happen without damage? Does it happen in leaderboard sessions?
I can't really say at the moment, I'll do some back to back testing tomorrow and see what happens. Do you think it's a similar issue to what was/is happening with the cayman? It feels like either a break of traction or clutch being activated in the wrong way. There is a huge blip in the revs and then when it grips again the rear end goes.
