Hockenheimring hotlap in a nutshell: reset 1000x for turn one until you forget how to drive the rest of the track when you actually make it perfectly out of T1.

Please by the love of god have a look into your contact/crash system. Its just terrible. I was lucky the last few races that I had no contact with other cars but now I just had the slightest of touch with my right front of the car against the left back of someone elses car and my rear end just completely steps out in a right hand corner as if someone else went straight into my rear with 100 kph. How is that possible..?

i was on Server 4 today and it was great fun, thanks to all that completed the race.

An observation, I calculated 44 laps and put 44 laps of fuel in the car (I think it came to about 30 US gallons). On the grid the in car fuel read as 60 laps, and by the end I still had 16 laps in the tank.

Thanks @Robert Wiesenmüller for the invite and R3E for hosting.

Tried to think outside of the box for T1 but got a cut track penalty and then as I tried to leave serving it as late as possible, I underestimated the amount of slowdown required and got myself a DT :p
Regardless, the racing was very fair and fun even in the second half of the grid and getting poitns for Adam was the main goal, thanks for the race all and see you in Hockenheim

The fuel estimation in the car setup menu is just a broad and very conservative estimation to make sure everyone is able to safely finish their desired # of laps.
For more accurate calculations you will have to drive some laps, check the onboard data display's fuel page and use the values you get there to calculate a precise prediction.
Atm there's no other way than doing this prior to your race, but it really only takes a few minutes.

Thank you @Christian Göpfert for that. Do all cars have this, and is it on the main dashboard display?

The info varies a bit depending on which display the car uses, but the vast majority of cars (especially non-classic ones) should have a display with a dedicated fuel page, which gives you detailed info about average consumption, laps left and so on.

Note however that on most of our data displays the dedicated fuel page is on page 2 (a few have it on page 3 iirc), so make sure you assign the key function called 'flip data display pages' and then switch to the fuel page.

And as mentioned before, if you start a session you have to give the system at least 2 or 3 laps so it can gather some data, then it will show your actual current consumption.
