Hello Guys! I hope you are all well! I'm the Esports director of World Pro Racing. We've been doing sim racing events since last year. We host professional and serious races, all professionally broadcasted from our studio. also, our races are monitored by real FIA licensed stewards. We are a group of people that are involved in real Motorsport and since I've been a hardcore gamer and sim racer for a long time, we have entered seriously into the sim racing scene. All the events we have organised so far were all with a real-life Motorsport prize. We hosted the Porsche Championship on other platform and the championship winner won a Porsche on track experience at the Intercity track in Istanbul. We also hosted the Griiip G1 Virtual Series 2019 and the winner is going to a full testing day in Italy with the real Griiip G1 car. We've been following RaceRoom and testing it for quite some time and now it's the time to get into organising our first event! Feel free to shoot what events you would like us to organise although we have something planned already! Feel free to join our Discord, Facebook and register as a driver on our website! We are looking to create some exciting races, but we would prefer to see the majority of choices. GT3/GT Masters Endurance GT3/P2 Prototype Endurance WTCC Championship GT Masters Championship GT3 Championship Formula RaceRoom 3 Championship Let me know!
GT3's have been done to death. There's so much fantastic content on RR it's a shame more of it doesn't get highlighted. The GTR2 class is particular good on the latest physics. Touring cars are great and are fairly unique to RR (I prefer the 16/17 wtcc cars). Formula juniors are brilliant and the new Porsche 964 should give great close racing.
Thanks for your opinion @ravey1981. The ones I mentioned as per popularity. We can host any championship for everyone to have fun in a serious environment. We will host both Amateur & Pro events so it will suit everybody.
@Justin Mifsud Here's a thought. Why not have companion series to the main races? Leading the GT3 with e.g. Carrera Cup or the BMW235i. Wouldn't even have to take that much longer. The feeder series could race while the main grid do practice/qualifying on a different server. Wouldn't matter much to me personally, since I have zero interest in competitive simracing (nor the skill for it for that matter). But it's just one of those things that happen in real-life, and yet I've never seen it in a league anywhere.
Once they get their physics updated, then I'll agree with you. Right now there's a bit too much boat to them for my taste. This coming from the guy who suggested the FRJs.
Defnitely, I'm here to get all your thoughts. Obviously we cannot please everyone but we have dedicated servers to have multiple races/championships.
Lol yeah but they are great lively little things, don't really know what it is about the TCR. I want to like them as I live touring cars but just not feeling it. Maybe need more seat time with them.
It happens. I never really clicked with the Audi TTs. In theory it should be right up my alley, low power momentum car, but..... The FRJs are fantastic fun though, couldn't agree more.
In fact, we are thinking of doing one with the FRJ for the least skilled drivers to prepare for the higher level events.
Good thinking, that man. Just please don't do what SRS did, and only run them on short, super-tight tracks. The FRJs get truly tactical once you have to utilize drafting.
We will also be hosting one-off races just to satisfy those who do not want or don't have time to enter in full championships. I have updated the first post with our links and social media since I couldn't do it at first.
Just to continue with various plans we have, we will also put some public races for everyone to enjoy, so if you let us know what would you wish to have to enjoy some casual racing let me know!
GT3/P2 Prototype Endurance Championship - perfect class for 24h races Or maybe one more championship with GT3 and LMP1 cars?
