Here our @Alex Hodgkinson is the original M1 moving to group 4 or is this a new version?
Next time you sneak a peek at the end of a lengthy video on the GT3 Bentley of something else, pop the old sound on a bit earlier because the M1 sounds fanbloodytastic. ;)

That M1 with sound was old one we have now. I guess Group 4 version will receive new sounds.

Why did Alex highlight Group 4 in the video then, seems a bit daft if it's the old one?

The M1 homologated for group4 was the very same as used in procar, they were only not homologated earlier due to BMW not building enough of them at that point. The group 4 version wouldn't need new sounds. It would probably require a BOP to bring it in line with the Porsche we already have.

I love the M1 in raceroom. A proper old school GT car.

He showed both - the one without sounds was the GR.4 version. The one he un-muted was the existing Procar cup version. ;)

My guess is Gr.4 M1 will receive whole new updated physics (to latests standard) and get bopped to match 934 via "endurance" spec engine (lower rev limit) and tyres. What i would like to know is, will the Gr.4 one replace Procar one or do we then have free revving Procar series(also with updated physics) AND bopped Gr.4 one?

My guess would both. There's no way I'm giving up the procar!!!

I love the sound of this car. Handling is OK but need some touch up.
