if you as devs have some good tested FFB settings for new DD Fanatec bases, feel free to share them. I struggle with good settings in some cars. It feels heavy while stationary, and then very light even on slow crawling.
I know that as I have bundles before but I don’t own any of them I was just viewing them and was showing 57%
When I bought them, I remember a discount. The asking price was (I believe) about $12USD, but when I checked out, I paid $10 and some change. Of course, I went through the website game.raceroom.com... I didn't bother going through Steam, but I don't know if the store in game, would have applied the same discount for the pack?
I think it is 399vrp for each car type (including 1 livery), so 1187. Then 31 x 29vrp for all the rest of the liveries = 899vrp, so a total of 2096 vrp. Of which 899vrp is 43% or a saving of 57%.
Very nice...go for volume deal: All 3 cars, 1 livery each = 657 VRP. Nice. You get a discount at checkout if bought in one order. All 3 cars bought separately, 1 livery =1197. All 3 cars and all liveries = 899 VRP.
It feels pretty good on OSW/ MMos, although the overall (default 2.5 ) FFB strength is a bit too low as mentioned by other members. I have it cranked up to 2.8. More than 2.8 starting to feel a bit springy and not so pleasant to drive. Otherwise what a great release!!!!
I ran a race the night before the patch come out with the Mclaren 650S and ffb felt good. After reading some people were experiencing some lightness to the ffb I. figured I would try the 650s after the patch and it didn’t really feel much different. Maybe because I’m probably running a weaker wheel than most users ? Using a TM:TMX
The rumble you're mentioning is the original wind sound from the recordings, not much I can do about that unless removing all the engine low frequencies, but believe me you don't want to hear the result. On the other hand, this is as close as possible to the era's onboard videos. I might be able to improve it if I get the opportunity to record the real Ferrari 643 onboard sound myself, but for now this is the best I can provide. About the V10 engine loop, not much I can do either, this is the problem of working with a limited number of engine triggers/samples and no randomization system : you might hear some looping or repetition here and there. I always try to limit it as much as possible but it's also a matter of finding the right balance between a boring engine sound with no "event" or variations, which sounds very computerized, and a lively engine sound with many bangs/ noises etc
The F90 cars are way to light in the FFB indeed.. the default 2.5 is way to low. With The other cars do feel less FFB after the patch.
@Devs, seriously when are we going to beable to use our Fanatec wheels to there full use?? still no rotary controls working, still no fix for toggle switch not working on the Mclaren rim (which was working) whats going on?
H it's me or there have been modifications of ffb ? I find that the weight of the wheel is more important when cornering
