Nice but I still prefer my triple setup. (Instead of a single ultra wide)

Ultra is nice for FPS. Triples can gives you better view for racing or flight sims if that is what you might care about. i certainly do.

Here’s an old photo that i tried to snap on the formation lap but since the camera has no wide lens the whole monitor is not in the frame (see the text on the top right and left side). As @Turtle Power said, it’s nice for FPS which i definitely care about (hence the 3840x1440@120Hz refresh rate on this ultra wide). Still it’s all personal preferences and what you’re used to (FOV....etc) and which kind of games you play.

Yeah indeed for race/flight sims it is ok. FPS games will look better on a single ultra wide.
I mostly play Racing/cockpit games. Occasionally a FPS game.
Bought No man’s sky the other day as it was 50% off. Only for VR lol. 14th of august it will be updated tp VR.
Played it once on the PS4 although it was nice, we did not got what was promised so I told myself, once there is VR support I will buy it again but on PC.

Recently updated from a gt art rig and t500 wheelbase with modded Ferrari F1 rim and car elite pedals to fanatec dd1 with F1 2018 le rim, heusinkveld sprint pedals and Simlab P1-X rig. The only thing I have carried over is one button box and my two shakers. More than happy with this combo, should hopefully last a long time!

    Nice cockpit @F1Aussie
I had that seat slider under the pedal plate too. Is yours flexing under heavy braking?

Could yo make a closer pic of the VESA mounting plate? Looks like an L bracket? I have the same monitor and the old mounting plate provided by Sim-Lab didn't fit to mount this monitor. Good to see they keep improving their products.

Yes I noticed a little flex, it is minor and I can't feel it, only see it slightly if I am looking for it. I mounted the monitor bracket underneath rather than on top to get it lower and used some spacers / standoffs to get it to fit. Will take photo now.

    Hi Guys,

I am pleased to announce a completion of my sim rig. A couple of short videos are now uploaded if you wish to see the setup and test drive. I am still learning how to drive....true true.
