Ding-a-ling, ding-a-ling it's the Kymi Ring! Global warming and all that, must be some palm trees up there by now, surely.
Before I give my guess, can we take a brief moment to enjoy the improved artwork of the designers? Picture looks amazing, even so close to signs and astroturf! Greetings
Did watch a few onboards from Dubai and i'm also convinced it's Dubai. I really like this track, did race it a lot with PC2.
Here it is: The Hairpin Turn 10 at Dubai and here are some pictures to verify: And a link to the onboard view (Min 1:20): Greetings
Some stats to Dubai Autodrome: 5.390km long 16 curves Lap Record: 1:41.220 (Kamui Kobayashi, 2008) 4 Layout possibilities The Track hosted/hosts events such as: GP2, A1GP (Basically FrUs in R3E), GT1, 24h of Dubai Track opened in 2004 and was designed by Apex Circuit Designs FIA Grade1 Greetings
Dubai Autodrome will be the first Middle East Track at R3E! Because it's Grade 1 but even Clio Cups and TCR's have their fun there, it will fit perfectly to every R3E car. Greetings
Great artwork for sure, but it's another modern F1 track and that's … . But at least we are ready for the upcoming sunshine tracks of Daytona, Sebring, Homestead and Long Beach by these wonderful palm tree 3D models now.
Actually not far off: KymiRing was overworked layout-wise by the same company who designed Dubai Autodrome! They also improved Sepang, which is also in R3E... Coincidence? Greetings
