Problem Invisible Cars

In the last Races(Online) I recognize invisible Cars on the track .
It´s not happening every Race, until now i have this problem two Times.
I see by the marker on the Minimap that a car is near me , but in the rear mirror or if the car is in front of me, I can not see them..
Am I the only one who have this problem?

 

Yepp, just recently , that car was not lagging or wharping just popped on and off from time to time and left dust traces from breaking...dunno, data package lost or something (like shardshunt mentioned once) ?

 

Yesterday I and a lot of others had this problem too.
And it wasn`t the first time.

I think this phenomenon is caused by some servers?!

 

I thought y'all were crazy.

I've been racing since the patch and didn't experience what you were talking about until this morning.
Zandvoort - A car kept appearing & disappearing directly in front of me.....then I thought I was going crazy
No wonder I couldn't catch the cars in front of me, I had an invisible car holding me up

 

I had this on a dedicated server last night.....one car jumping around like crazy...bad lag on his end, I'd imagine...you will get this on private servers, I'd imagine, as you have no control over their setup or network.

Bad ping connection is the issue

I have see this problem almost every race, its not only a latency issue.

 

Had another instance of this at portimao.....basically things just go beserk. On the map, everyone is doing donuts of in the field somewhere, but not seen in the rendered world

 

I don't have these problems on the official RaceRoom servers....or if I do, its rare.

I think is has to do with the "home" servers people are using.

 

There might be an issue with Dedi server.

I run my own one, and tonight I was driving on it when an other player connected. He told me I was invisible .. on my own server. It can't be a ping issue as mine is nearly 0 on my own server, and the other one didn't had a high ping (less than 100 for sure). I disconnected/reconnected and it was OK.
Few minutes later, a other player came, I couldn't see it on the track.
When race began: we were 4 on the grid: I could see everybody but one had a very high ping (+200), he was like a jumping ghost on the track

Never had such thing on [RR] server.

 

I cut my WLAN when i go into Raceroom.

Friend in austria (me germany) create a session yesterday and both of us needed 4...5 restarts before we can see each other.

 

I know that this is a zombie thread but I have this problem just about every race but only on the grid. No other cars but mine up to T1. My ping is fine.

 

yes think there must be some rule that with a high ping we should not can join a server...
i see this also sometimes

 

I actually hope everybody does.....cause due to repeating issues(that not all can be blamed on RRE)I can imagine that some have running a lot in the background and don't even take it into consideration...(the notorious 99% of errors sitting behind the keyboard)
