After the December update, there seems to be mixed feelings about the ffb so It’d be interesting to find out which wheel you are using and if you are having any issue or not.

    Best regards,

I'm several years into a G29 and have no issues with the new FFB.

I'm looking forward to upgrading to a Clubsport 2.5 in Jan though. I moved to the V3 pedals last month, and the difference was night and day.

No issues so far with my Fanatec CSW 2.5. FFB feels a bit different, but i like it. Drove a lot with the Group A/1992 DTM cars yesterday and had a lot of fun with them. Just the performance was better before the patch, but that's clearly not a wheel issue.

Simucube 2. Something feels very "off", especially with regard to the wheel constantly wanting to snap back to centre.

My understanding is that the parties involved are aware of the issues and will look into it when time allows. I'm sure it will get figured out and when it does, I'll be firing it straight back up to sample the many positives that came with the update :)

    Logitech G27.

Struggling to get a decent set up. Default set up - weight of it feels nice but lacks the ‘detail’ I think I had before - especially in cornering. No sense at all of grip levels and no ‘road feel’. So hard to describe or convey.

I have mucked around with various suggestions and I have one (sort of) acceptable set up and another poster has given me one to try (haven’t been home since the weekend to test it yet).

Been doing nothing but testing and tweaking since the update.

Won’t be quitting though - game is way too good.

Fanatec CSW v2.5 and for me the FFB is great. Some minor clipping now and then so perhaps I need to adjust a few settings.

CSL Elite, happy, just had to crank up a bit default steering feedback intensity n fine tune to my preference.

DD2, overall very happy with the FFB, although I had the impact setting on 2% and it nearly broke my arms when I hit a wall, had to turn it off completely for now. Also found the flat spotting to be extremely aggressive so edited the file to lower it from 0.35 to 0.18.. along with the sterring force intensity from 40(iirc) to 25, since I run my base at 100%, using an f1 rim.

I'm still not sold on the damper setting either, have set that to 10 for now.
Sounds like I changed it all, lol, but understeer/vertical load/lateral force/steering rack etc, is as suggested ;)

Simucube 1 and now after a fresh FFB profile no issues. It's very good.

must admit that after “starting from scratch” aka delete simbin folder, the feeling is much better than before (with csl elite ps4). Guess things should feel even better with the Porsches and M4 :)
can’t wait to pick them up once the long xmas vacation starts.
Could you share you Simcube settings in this thread if possible? Trying to help a friend who lost faith in r3e after last update. Thanks in advance https://forum.sector3studios.com/index.php?threads/raceroom-and-simucube.14098/

Changed for the better with no adjustments necessary.
